Wanted to like this place so bad because I love so many chicago staples. Also was told it was a black owned business so I went in support. The gentleman at the register was polite and offered 2/3 items that they were selling, so menu was very limited to what was already a small menu. The food items are a bit pricey in my opinion but for good food + great quality + great service, I dont mind. However, I got the 6 wings for $12. The breading was coming off (like when the oil isn’t hot enough) and it was very greasy and rubbery. I must’ve had baby chicks bc the wings were pretty small. The pics i saw from their page, look nothing like what i received. My double cheeseburger was decent, nice size but when 1 slice of cheese is completely unmelted (and stayed that way) and 1 slice is melted, im confused of how it was assembled. I came with them having 1hr left till close, not that its a excuse bc as long as your open and accepting orders, you should be given fresh, hot, quality food. If it doesn’t look right or wasnt up to a certain standard, dont send it out. There was about 5 people waiting when I came in, i was asked if ive tried them before, I told them no. Was told I may be waiting a while because everyone had been already waiting long for their food. I waited about 20mins, it didnt bother me bc I thought I was getting something enjoyable.

Unfortunately, this place was extremely overhyped. The food quality was poor the crust was loose on the chicken, the taste was bad, and the presentation didn’t match the photos at all. The staff was also rude during my first visit, which made for a really disappointing first impression.

Got the cheeseburger very good. That gyro burger my daughter said was very good. The Italian Beef was way way too salty. We had it a week ago Friday. The beef was shaved good and the flavor would’ve been good if alot less salt and more Italian seasoning. I still want to try the Chicago hot dog.

To be clear I did not have the food and I will update review when I get a chance. I waited 10 minutes in line and no orders were taken. Over a dozen folks was waiting for food and not one got an order. Maybe I came in at worst time but things got to move faster than that. And for real menu seems basic. Ill give it a chance and come back but first impressions were not good.

Okay, First let me say I’m from Chicago and no one calls a hotdog a glizzy. It’s simply called a Chicago Dog. I decided to try a HOTDOG and ordered and paid for it. After about five minutes I was curious and asked how long a wait there would be. The girl told me 25 minutes! For a HOTDOG??? When I looked through the window to the kitchen I saw why. The woman doing the orders was more interested in talking on her phone. Apparently she couldn’t cook a couple of cheesburgers and make a hot dog at the same time while talking on the phone. I asked and got a refund and left without my HOTDOG.

Okay so I went back and gave it another try and this time it wasn’t good just soft salty chicken no crispy chicken but soft an greasy fries was okay not as good as first time some was still very hard meaning not properly cook the sauce just no hype at all just take like hot sauce with ketchup Philly cheese steak was loaded with meat an veggies but wasn’t loaded with cheese I’ll try again when it gets better
