Came for dinner and dessert! The scallop was such a unique and delicious presentation, sitting in the shell on a cloud of mashed potatoes. The dill salad alongside the pâté was so refreshing and different and paired perfectly. The cocktail menu was good but more limited. Overall a great experience!

this restaurant definitely puts the charm in charming. The atmosphere feels like a vintage French film, we walked in at 7:30 on a Saturday and were welcomed with a liveliness that Calgary has been missing in the food scene – laughter, French jazz music and an open kitchen to add to the vibes. The bar is also stunning. This restaurant is 4 months new, but feels timeless. You can tell the passion and love that went into this place! Will be becoming a regular. TRY THE BANANA CHEESECAKE and thank me later

Significant improvement could be made. The service was lovely but the food was middling and the taste did not reflect the hard work by the kitchen.

The fries were excellent. Great crisp and the truffle mayo is thick and rich. Nothing to improve.

La Mano Bucatini had good texture but the taste of the duck was not quite as strong as I expected. If I was blindfolded I might not be able to recognize what protein I was served. I recommend a different pasta than bucatini. It was cooked unevenly and did not compliment the bolognese well. Perhaps a tagliatelle or something that soaks up the sauce better.

The Banana Cheesecake was nice but didn’t live up to the hype. The brulee on top of the banana slid right off so it would have been more efficient if they fried the banana on a pan with sugar. The miso was barely noticeable.

The Lemon Ricotta Cappelletti had fine texture but overall the flavours were muted and unbalanced only punctuated by the sharpness of the lemon. The texture is also off. If they want the crunch of the toasted hazelnuts they should be broken up finer. This was by far the worst dish I tried and needs more work.

Laid back french food. The decor instantly transported me to a bistro I’d visited in paris. Menu is small but mighty. Duck bolognese bucatini was rich and flavorful with plenty of sauce and the flank steak was perfectly cooked. Shrimp toast was a tad salty for my tastes, but the coquilles saint Jacques was the highlight. Perfect bites of scallop, under fluffy whipped potatoes.

Owner was very friendly and shared of their potential plans to open for brunch which will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood. They also offer a late night happy hour that we’ll try to hit sometime soon.

Cozy bistro with food that has proper attention to detail. Presentation of the food is top notch Flavor is exceptional for all dishes and the truffle fries are a must. Great experience here and highly recommend if you are looking for a different, intimate, non-chain style dining experience.

This charming neighborhood spot was exceptional! My husband & I stopped in on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Lovely greeting by the owner/mgr(?) and seated promptly. The staff was all lovely and personable. Our waitress, Nya, was amazing, fun, and gorgeous! She really added to the evening and made us feel welcomed. She also made our cocktails which were delicious. The food here is superb and tasty. Each dish was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back and I HIGHLY recommend it!

This place has such a charming vintage feel — it’s like stepping into grandma’s house in the best way possible! The ambiance is cozy and nostalgic, with beautiful interior details that make you want to stay a little longer. Service was quick and efficient, and every dish we ordered was delicious. Great food, great atmosphere!

Wanted to try a new place and we both love French food so was excited to walk to the new restaurant where deluxe Diner used to be. I’d say this isn’t really French food. It’s a mix of euopean with Italian and German mains.

We started with some cocktails and both were just ok. Not really full flavour or interesting.

We split two appetizers with the pate en croũte and it was really pretty when presented but really had no flavour. The pickle in the salad was the best part is the dish. We also had the scallops which were served in a shell and had truffle mashed potatoes and looked beautiful and it was tasty. The scallops were cut up so small tastes inside the mash which would have been better to have a perfect single scallop and a side of mash.

We had the duck bocatini which was a pasta and it was nothing special as the noodles were chewy and the duck you almost didn’t know was in there. We asked for pepper to add some punch as it was very mild. We had a chocolate cake with berries and brown butter ice cream and the ice cream was the best part.

The staff was lovely and kind. The ambiance was ok the music didn’t feel like anything to match the restaurant and over all it was a underwhelming dinner. If you want a great French experience I’d choose cassis all day but wanted to try something new. Has potential but if you have a small menu. Waitress told us this was more European fusion and a bit misleading and a missed opportunity when Branding as a French restaurant. Review not intended to be anything other than helpful and honest and hope this place can grow. We spent 160 for our evening.

Very happy to have a gem like this in the neighbourhood! The decor and ambience is elevated yet unpretentious with great service and even better food. We tried the kale salad, baked scallops, lemon ricotta pasta, pork schnitzel and banana cheesecake. Our favourites were the salad, schnitzel, and cheesecake!

We went to Le Charme on a Thursday night, and the atmosphere was amazing the moment we walked in. It truly feels like you’re stepping into a cute little French house — warm, cozy, and welcoming.
We ordered the biscuits (the butter, is unreal) and the beef tartare for appetizers and for our mains we had the trout and the schinizel. Everything was absolutely delicious. For drinks, we had the espresso martini, and I had a red wine.
The fireplace outside really set the mood and made the whole evening feel extra special.
Tyler was amazing, and we also met his brother — both were so friendly and welcoming. The guys did a wonderful job.
We’ll definitely be back.
