CLOSED! I drove 45 minutes to use my Pub Passport and have a beer. According to their website and FB, they open at 4:30 on Sunday. We arrived at 4:45 and they were closed. The outside didn’t look like much and they claim they are dog friendly so we drove out back expecting to see a nice beer garden or outside patio. Instead we saw a toilet, a piano that appeared to have been outside for over a year, busted chairs, broken tables, trash, and garbage. I guess dogs are allowed inside? I’ll never know because it doesn’t look worth going back to.

Captain’s Tavern is the BEST! My new husband and I went with a large group the night before our wedding, and it was so good that we came back the night of our wedding with our bridal party and some other guests! Chrissy was so nice to accommodate us, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Great drink options and a great vibe/atmosphere. Thank you for the great memories, and we will for sure be back!

Me and my husband came late last night for some beers and ended up pretty much being part of a fun friendly environment! Chrissy is a sweetheart, she and everyone else there made it seem like we’ve been coming there for years. I enjoyed that down to earth opening atmosphere. It may look like a hole in the wall bar but it has that Cheers vibe which I totally get with. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more camaraderie with Chrissy and the other patrons here!

Always friendly people working. Great beer and wine selection. The owners make you feel like you are family. It is a DOG and PIG friendly place :). Always some kind of special event going on or food competitions. I wouldn’t want to spend my days off at any other place!

Great cold beer, at a great spot, with terrific a bartender owner! Lots of locals and visitors alike! Great priced beer! Country meets high-tech at the darts center! You will love this place. Com see the real Odessa at Foxes Corner. The Captain is gone, but his fans can still drink to his health in Dog Heaven!

The bartender Jeff was very attentive and super friendly. He made me feel like I was hanging out with friends and that is rare to come by these days. The beers were nice and ice cold and the environment was welcoming. I will definitely be back as a repeat customer!!
