Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I went to this location this morning after my daughters dr appt across the street excited because it’s finally open.. I ordered breakfast to go for me and my daughter. I forgot to get our drinks so when we got our food I went to the counter to get them.. I had to wait for fresh brewed coffee which was fine so I went outside to the car to enjoy the sunshine while waiting on fresh coffee.. I came back in when I realized I was missing food since I ordered a breakfast meal and a kids meal with a large hot vanilla coffee and extra sweet cream for .30$ with three vanillas.. nobody could figure out how to make the coffee I ordered.. I was offered vanilla creamer.. and was told that’s the vanilla for the coffee.. but what if it was caramel? There was no caramel coffee creamer.. but I was laughed at by an employee who proceeded to put her hands In her pocket while dancing away to the line.. asking a coworker if she was coming outside.. I asked her if it was funny my order was wrong it while she was laughing or if the giggle was for her coworker.. she gave me a smug look while dancing off to the line.. there was literally one other person dining in the restaurant so it wasn’t busy at all!! And I’m not sure of the process for making coffee with extra sweet cream that is extra money but I know not to order coffee anymore and clearly coming inside this location isnt the best option either since the employees find it funny when they mess up your order.. the dancing employee had on the black jacket I wish I would’ve gotten my phone out sooner because I can’t make this up!!

Decides to try out the new location. Longest time I’ve ever waited for food in my life. There’s no way to exit the drive thru once you enter and I’ve been here half an hour and still haven’t reached the intercom. Now I’ll be stuck in this drive thru for an hour. They need to shut down if they can’t even be anywhere near fast food standards.

DO NOT GO HERE, I got stuck in the drive through line and couldn’t back out. Took me 30 minutes for ‘fast food’. If you really want whataburger, drive 10 mins down the road and the service is better and they respect your time.

We’ve ordered pickup from this location twice now, and the food has been excellent both times. The double burger is surprisingly large for the price, especially compared to other spots nearby. They’re generous with the sauces, too, which is always appreciated. We’ll definitely be ordering from this location again.
