Loved the salad sampler to try a bit of all their styles.
Grilled shrimp had a nice mint sauce, char was great, but slightly overcooked.
Octopus was deliciously charred and a decent size though the thickness did make it slightly chewy. The toubalai with it was very fresh and flavorful and herby.
Meatballs were the favorite. Immense flavor with incredible crisp outside and bouncy juicy moist inside. Absolutely best part of the meal.
Stuffed grape leaves with mushrooms was very savory, though slightly lacking anything special, maybe just too much rice and slightly large for each individual piece. Would’ve appreciated more of smaller pieces.
Wood Roasted olives were normal at best, really just warmed up olives. No char or wood flavor we tasted
Fried Feta was awesome with the honey drizzle, make sure to eat it hot!! Gets a little chunky when it cools down and less spread like.
Baklava was the star of the deserts. Not too sweet, perfectly crispy, insanely earthy in a good way. Incredible all around.
The other puff pastry was a nice medium of creamy over sweetness. This one was my favorite, let cool slightly.
Fries with feta sounded good but fries had no flavor.
The best part was their Greek salad and in large part because of the dressing.
When asked about their signature dessert, everything on the dessert menu was their best. It was not.
Will I go there again? I don’t think so.
The service was great, drinks were generous. We had a very good time and will be back!
1. Loved that on a non busy night, they did not charge us to host a large group
2. The tasting menu was AMAZING! Loved the family style meal. We were able to get 3 courses. Our group decided to go all out at get the top tier tasting menu and it was worth every penny!!
3. The food was delicious and we all had a really great time.
I HIGHLY recommend this place.
Food – $14 hummus is jokingly small portion. They put a little bit at the bottom and then some around the plate. Nothing in the middle of the plate. One piece of pita bread. $14 Greek salad is like a side dish, came with a little bowl. It’s not even a Greek salad but came with some white sauce. Sea bass is dry and frozen quality. Shrimp has no flavor as well. $28 with 4 shrimp in a small plate. Too bad. We only took one photo due to lost of appetite
Service – a woman in dark black glasses walked around to all tables to chat except our table. Our server never paid attention to us or check on things. It seems like different ppl serve the same table but ours has one server who provided no service. She even did not change plate after appetizer and asked if we can continue to use the small plates for entree while we are sharing food. When we first sat down, she tried to sell us to buy the $45 per person unlimited small dishes. We were not hungry after a big lunch so we didn’t buy that. May be that’s the reason they gave us terrible service?
Overall, very disappointing restaurant with cheating high price, small portion, poor food quality and bad service. Will not come back!! Plenty of choice in the area
