Second visit: the potion is getting smaller. $13.99 for a ramen bowl, $2 extra for egg, and $2 extra for cheese. With nothing else in it, not a even a piece of green onion in it. $29.99 for a combination of Galbi + Tofu Soup which is our favorite but the Galbi potion is so tiny. We love to support this new business but they need to their math on their potion again.
All the staff are very kind and friendly.
Everything we ordered was amazing
we were very satisfied.
Especially the appetizer pajeon it was perfectly crispy and delicious.
I highly recommend trying that dish!!!
We’re so happy to have an authentic Korean restaurant here.
We will definitely come back again.
We ordered the bulgogi han sang, beef soon tofu jjigae, and seafood pajeon everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and comforting, and you can really tell the food is freshly made. Honestly, I wish the photos could capture how good it actually tasted. it was even better in person.
Definitely a place I’d come back to again!
The place was very clean and neat.
Staffs were very kind and accomodating.
We tried both menus (galbijjim & soondubu / bulgogi & kimchijjigae) and they tasted delicious and met authentic Korean taste just as they promoted.
Highly recommend and good to see an authentic Korean restaurant open in Memphis 🙂
We arrived around 5 PM and were seated immediately. The restaurant filled up quick and that says a lot. The space itself is beautifully done: well lit, spotless, and incredibly inviting. The fireplace added such a warm, cozy touch that made the whole experience feel elevated and comfortable.
The staff truly stood out. They were extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive throughout the meal, and incredibly accommodating. We had someone in our group with celiac disease, and the staff confidently offered gluten-friendly options, which we really appreciated.
The food was phenomenal from start to finish. Before our meal, we were treated to complimentary side dishes. I especially loved the kimchi and a traditional Korean New Year soup, tteokguk. The soup was fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor.
For appetizers, we wanted to try everything but settled on the pajeon, mandu pork dumplings, and japchae noodles. The pajeon (a Korean seafood pancake) was perfectly cooked and delicious. The mandu dumplings were crispy and bursting with flavor. The japchae noodles were outstanding, savory with a subtle sweetness and a nutty finish.
For entrées, we ordered the bulgogi, godeungeo, and galbi jjim. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. The galbi jjim was the star of the show rich, tender, and incredibly satisfying. The portion was generous enough for 3–4 people, and we left completely full and happy.
From atmosphere to service to food, The Han delivered an exceptional dining experience. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. I definitely want to try out the lunch menu. Highly recommend!
Our favorite was the braised beef stew, unbelievably tender and so delicious. Every dish we tried was amazing. The staff was warm and friendly, and the manager was incredibly professional, polite, and genuinely so kind. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the service.
10/10 experience and service. Highly, highly recommend, Memphis is so lucky to have The Han. We’ll absolutely be back.
