Narrow, sparse eatery for Thai cuisine, including noodles, curries & stir-fries plus lunch specials.

I wasn’t too sure what to expect, when I was coming here, so I walked in without any expectations. This place is amazing. We loved all the dishes that we had.
We ordered the Tao Hu Tod, Gai Yang, Khao Soi with Braised beef, but the highlight of the night was definitely the Yum Kor Moo Yang. Very satisfying dinner. Prices were fairly reasonable as well.
Service was great. They were all super friendly. I would come back to try other items on their menu.

Overall good experience, green curry was great, the pad kee mao was okay. The Thai iced green tea was pleasant so was the that iced coffee. The crispy wonton was perfect, especially with the sweet & spicy side drizzle sauce. Coconut rice was divine, but expensive for a side of rice. That’s all about the food. The ambiance felt like it was missing something. No music even playing in the background. Added to the odd vibe!

We ordered Thai green iced tea, green curry, Gai Yang, Khao soi, Pad See Ew, and mango sticky rice. Absolutely amazing quality of food, I was particularly blown away by the Khao Soi. Nice environment, great food, good service.

First time here at Bai Bua! Everything was super flavorful and delicious and I highly recommend to try if you haven’t yet!
I really enjoyed their monthly special crab and shrimp spring roll with the crunch, and their tom yum soup is rich and super tasty – the soup itself is next level and with great amount of spiciness!
Super cozy interior, and we went on a weekday so it’s not crazy busy!

Small place. They had a lot of online orders when we arrived. It took 1 hr to get the food for dine in. Multiple tables were waiting at the same time and not enough staff. Food was delicious. Recommend going at non peak time for a better experience

Incredible food and even better service. The spices are fresh, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is lovely. Best Tom Yum soup I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

It’s hard to find great Thai food in Vancouver.
My favourite Thai food is Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai and Laab. I did not try Pad Thai cuz every Thai restaurant has it.
Laab, spicy and sour, my favourite and hard-to-find street food. I’m excited to have it in Bai Bua 🙂 the taste I missed so much.
However, I need to pay $4 for extra lettuce to make it lettuce wrap… this is a bit aggressive…
Tom Yum soup noodle, deep fried egg omelette and Laab, they are all unforgettable!
Overall speaking. It’s great and I will re-visit

I wish I could eat here every day! They have very affordable and delicious lunch specials that come with complimentary deep friend wontons that was soooooo addicting. The service is always 10/10 and the owner is so friendly to our little one. Often times he’ll swing by our table with a small present or snack for him and it’s the sweetest gesture. Thank you Bai Bua Thai team!
