The young man with the tattoo on his neck could’ve at least acted like he wanted to be at work. So focused in on his attitude and the way he was handling the food I let him mess up my wife’s order 32$ for two bowls that taste like nothing was fresh. We got to do better and if you don’t want to work please stay home.

Haven’t been for a long time since the general quality went down over the last year. Stopped in about 6pm to grab dinner. Employee lets me know it’ll be 5 minutes for white rice, does not mention being low or having outages of anything else. No other communication after that, I was about to leave after 10 but at the 15 minute mark it was ready. Went to order fajita veggies (the main I came in for), they said they were out and would be another 5 minutes. I prepare to wait and then they say they won’t be making any more for the rest of the night. Things happen but there was a total lack of organization, communication. They either need better support during dinner rush hours or to turn off mobile orders. There was genuinely about 20(?) on the shelf and actively being made. The dividing of resources was not working for the team, at all. The guests and the team deserve better functionality.

I just had one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I went to Chipotle with my wife and was met with some of the rudest and unprofessional behavior I’ve ever seen in the service industry. First, a shorter African American woman with locks and glasses decided she wasn’t going to service us and made two other workers who were taking a break work because she said she was “done with it.” Then the two African American women slowly came over but didn’t serve us yet. The one with tattoos took her time and was mumbling things as she seemed disgruntled to have to work. She didn’t even acknowledge us as we stood there waiting to be served.

There was a line of people and I had been waiting around 10 minutes at this point. One man in line made a comment to them about how no one was working or serving us and walked out. I continued to wait and watched as still no one acknowledged us and they continued to take their time getting to serving us food. The manager, “Nicole Singleton”, was there watching the whole time but she was often on her phone.

The shorter woman with locks and glasses made a comment to one of the workers who came off break and said they needed to hurry up because the growing line. The woman then replied that the customers could wait, they weren’t going anywhere.

I then told them this was poor service and they needed to get it together and walked out without getting any food. On the way out the shorter African American woman with locks said, “It’s always the white guy.” My Asian wife then turned around and said, “What?”

I realized I didn’t get the name of the manager so walked back in and asked for the name of the manager. They would not give it to me and said they don’t give out names of staff. The manager had walked to the back when I came in and I waited for her. They gave me a card that said, “Norman Singleton” but would not give me her name. I waited and finally they said it was “Nicole Singleton.” During all this the shorter African American woman with glasses and locks continued to be rude and unprofessional during this entire process. I spoke with the manager and told her it was some of the worst service I’ve ever seen and it was just sad.

I also want to note that the taller man doing take out orders made eye contact with my wife while we were trying to navigate this and he glared at her rudely if to say, “What do you think you’re doing complaining about our poor and unprofessional behavior?”

No one apologized or said sorry about any of it. It was a terrible experience and we will never be back to this Chipotle again. Another man also walked out and said he was never coming back and was calling corporate because of how rude and unprofessional the behavior was.

Please hear our concerns about this as they are valid. I have rarely complained about a service experience and am usually very patient. I was patient in this situation but the level of unprofessionalism was beyond just about anything I’ve seen. I hope something will be done to remedy these issues and I would like follow up to ensure it was addressed so no one else had to go through it. I would not recommend going to eat here to absolutely anyone unless you are desperate for food. Thank you.

Possibly the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. The food itself is fine, but the way this location is run makes it unbearable.

They treat cheese and sour cream like luxury items. I once asked for extra cheese and the manager looked me dead in the eye, grabbed an insultingly small pinch, dropped it on my bowl, and then stared at me in the most condescending way. When I asked—politely—for extra again, she told me I’d have to pay for it. Which is fine if she’d actually give me extra cheese.

The manager (a very small, extremely aggressive woman who constantly yells at staff and customers alike) is one of the most unpleasant people I’ve ever encountered in food service. She is openly hostile, short-tempered, and seems annoyed that customers exist at all. When they inevitably run out of meat or toppings—which happens regularly when she’s managing—she treats customers like it’s somehow our fault for being hungry.

One of the most ridiculous moments: I asked for half-and-half meat. A new employee accidentally gave me double meat. I immediately explained that I didn’t want double meat and said I was happy to take the bowl as-is so it wouldn’t be wasted. Instead of simply giving me the extra meat and letting it go, the manager threw the entire bowl away and had it remade. Completely wasteful. Completely petty.

The operational flow is just as bad. During busy periods, they’ll make several bowls in a row, stop, and then check people out one by one—leaving customers who already have their food standing at the register for 10+ minutes while new bowls are made ahead of them. It’s inefficient, inconsiderate, and a massive waste of everyone’s time.

At this point, I won’t even go inside if I see this manager working. This location absolutely suffers because of her attitude, poor management, and constant hostility. There are too many better Chipotles to tolerate this one.

If I could give zero stars I would. Twice I’ve been to this establishment now. Different times of day, different days of the week, with different staff. Yet both times, crap show. Long long lines of people, missing ingredients in food and on the line. This time, it’s a 10 min line. I get to the front, ask for a kids BYO. Was told there were no more kids boxes and I couldn’t get one. Even though a stack of kids boxes was in my eyesight. So I get out of line because I can’t order what I wanted. My friend behind me gets out of line as well. We’re at the cash register at this point and another employee brings the stack of kids boxes down and says I can get one. After I’ve stepped out of a line of 15+ people. I was not going to be unfair to those people and skip the line I got out of, even though I was told by staff it was ok. It was not ok. I love chipotle, but after two horrendous experiences, I won’t be coming back to this location.

I recently visited the Chipotle in Burlington, NC, and overall, it was a pretty good experience, earning a solid 4 stars from me. As always, the food was absolutely fantastic. I love the customizable bowls and burritos, and my order was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was craving. The ingredients always taste high-quality, and it’s consistently a reliable spot for a delicious and satisfying meal.

One of the highlights of my visit was being able to sit outside. The outdoor seating area was pleasant and a great option to enjoy my food, especially with the nice weather. It’s a real plus to have that alternative to dining indoors, offering a more relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.

However, where this location fell short was the cleanliness inside the restaurant. The floors inside were noticeably dirty, which was a bit off-putting. It looked like they hadn’t been swept in a while, with food bits and general grime scattered about. Additionally, the trash cans were overflowing, which not only looked unappealing but also suggested a lack of regular maintenance.

To top it off, many of the tables were dirty, with crumbs and spills from previous customers. While the food was great and the outdoor seating was a perk, the internal cleanliness definitely needs some attention to make it a truly 5-star experience.

Food was okay however the service was lacking. I went in a week and a half ago for a nice juicy burrito and guess what they said that their tortilla press was broken. Which I was like cool this happens no big deal, but that’s when he goes “the online press” isn’t broken you can order burritos online only… That right there confused me. Like how you gonna say you can’t order burritos in the store but hey order online and you can get them.

the food is not the problem. It is management have the time they are not opening at the time posted online and on the door. Today, however it was worse opening 15 mins late and not having the items for toppings made for the business day is ridiculous. The only reason this business has not been severely impacted is because of the food… Please do better at managing this location.

I stopped by Chipotle to pick up a DoorDash order for a customer, and the first thing I noticed was how busy the place was—it was packed! Despite the rush, the employees were working like a well-oiled machine, staying on top of everything and keeping the line moving efficiently.

The girl at the register was especially kind and even gave me a complimentary water cup while I waited. That small gesture really made a difference and showed how much they value their customers (and delivery drivers too!). Overall, it was a great experience, and I was impressed with how well the team handled the crowd.

This specific chipotle store is very unprofessional. Coming from someone who’s worked customer service and retail for many years. A few months ago the store did not open on time at 10:45 like they usually. You could see one worker cleaning the store. I’m assuming they did not pass their food safety inspection hence why they hadn’t opened the store yet and the one worker cleaning the store. Since that day it seems the staff hasn’t changed much or done anything to improve as a team. The workers are still rude and hateful, portions still small and restaurant still messy. Turning customers coming in away and and doing only online orders points to a serious management issue. I’m not sure if there is a staffing issue but this store desperately needs better management from higher ups. It’s very unfortunate to see the decline of this chipotle and its barley been in Burlington for 5 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if this chipotle ends up closing within the next year due to how unprofessional and dirty this store has been within this year alone.
