My experience was a delightful opportunity to experience a new restaurant. After going to dialysis this morning, and going with my daughter this afternoon for Labwork nearby; I was famished . She wanted Orange Chicken and Lo Mein noodles . They didn’t have that so we both decided on the Shrimp Tempru Bento Box.
The experience was definitely a 10/10!!.
A picture is worth a thousand words. The atmosphere, the service, and definitely the food EVERYTHING was top notch. We both ate everything.

We have been to Sumo Sushi Restaurant four times already, and it has been great every time. We have tried both ramen and sushi, and everything has been consistently good. It quickly became one of our favorite sushi spots in Daytona Beach, and we will definitely keep coming back.

I fear this is the new best sushi spot in Daytona! And now they’ve got a buffet menu. Food is excellent quality each time. Everything is soooo good. The hand rolls are delicious. The smoked salmon sushi, the tuna tataki, the Atlantic mermaid roll and playboy roll are so good! We literally cannot get enough of this place!

We needed a quick bite to get a nigiri fix in. The service was lovely, the food was freshhhh, and our stomachs were full. We also had a deep fried roll, fried rice, miso soup, and the incredibly delicious ginger salad. If I lived closer I would have that salad daily, the dressing is unforgettable. Their recipe is by far the best I’ve ever had out of countless ginger dressings I have ordered. We finished dinner with fried Oreos which came with way more than we anticipated (perfect for a snack later in the night) and presented beautifully with the fun multicolored sprinkles. We had a great time & hope you try this spot!

Tried Sumo Sushi Hibachi for lunch and really enjoyed it! I got the lunch special with two rolls—spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. Both were fresh and satisfying. The special didn’t include soup or salad, which might be a downside for some, but the quality made up for it.
I also ordered the Crazy Roll and couldn’t resist the fried Oreos—left absolutely stuffed but happy I got to try a variety of things.
The restaurant was clean with a nice ambiance, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Prices were reasonable for the portion and quality. I’d definitely go back to try more menu items!

I have dined in as well as purchased take out from this location several times. Every visit has been wonderful — the prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the food is always spectacular. Everything is always incredibly fresh, which makes each dish even more enjoyable. First visit and likely be the last. Ordered the deluxe sashimi and was somewhat disappointed. The quality was ok but the presentation could use some improvement. And the selections of fish was on the cheap end. The service was decent but didn’t make up for food quality
