The falafels were 30% the size of normal falafels as the competitors in the area and six small puck size pieces for $7 this is too high of a price. The dolma was just as expensive and the taste was too wet with the rice knots soft and firm but hard. at the bottom of the tub to which they were served in there was a pool of juices. To my observation the falafels were not fried fresh they were placed in a toaster oven similar to Subway. There are definitely other Mediterranean places close by that will serve you well compared to this place.

Lentil soup!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this quick, filling and yummy soup served garnished with fresh parsley and 2 fresh pitas. To warm up on a cold day, cannot beat this hearty $5 option. Thanks falafel boy(s)!!

Definitely a staple in my rotation of restaurants. I love their falafel wrap, it is such a good combination of flavors and plenty filling. The lentil soup is also amazing.

It was a nice place. I have been meaning to go to this place since I found out about it during my Google Search on Restaurants un my Neighborhood and I was thinking of Mediterranean Food. Particularly, Falafels and I found this Cute name and Quiant place. Just recently went by here with a friend of mine who is treating me to Lunch and I thought give this place a shot. Now they have closed for Renovations until further notice. I am glad i got the chance to finally try it out and I liked it and the food. Can’t wait to order from them again once they reopen. Hopefully the Renovations won’t take too long. Wish I had ordered from here a long while ago after I found it. Now I gotta wait for more Falafel Goodness

The falafel tasted stale and old and was incredibly tiny. Half the size of normal falafel. If it was cooked today, it was waaaaay over cooked. The chicken plate was greasy and dry. I ate less than half of my plate and it all gave me tremendous gas and upset stomach. Do not recommend. Last but not least I ordered a soup that was not in the order, granted I should have checked the bag but man. Poor service and quality of food

Wanted to try this place out, but as other reviewers mentioned the falafel i received were very dry and saw that they were heated in a toaster oven. The wrap was also very dry. Unfortunately it was the worst falafel i’ve had in the 20 plus years i’ve lived in San Francisco.

I was a bit disappointed. When the name of the restaurant is Falafel Boy I expected to get great falafel. Unfortunately the falafel I got was very hard. It tasted like it had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order which created a thick dry hard crust on the outside. The bread was also a bit dry and tough. Maybe I came at a bad time but I would rather have waited for a fresh batch than wind up with falafel that was so hard.
