Went there the night of the Christmas tree lighting and it’s a cool place but the bartender with brunette hair and glasses sucks. She was super rude for no reason and spent majority of the night flirting with some guys at the pool table. She also over charged us on purpose. We won’t be going back after this experience.

When calling no one answer so I’m unable to see when a manger will be there to talk with and get this issue straightened out. Love the Sandshaker at Pensacola Beach have been a patron there since the 80’s so of course when I saw the sign at the wharf shops we had to stop. I was amazed at this bar. upon entering it is small like the one on Pensacola Beach, however walk up the ramp and bam… Huge indoor dance floor, pool table, big bar. Then walk outside and the view is gorgeous. The drinks are ice cold and our bartenders gave us amazing service. I highly recommend this place and the outside bar with Justin, Candice and Taylor…

Fun atmosphere and strong drinks. Decent vibe. 3 because I was here for karaoke and the host was more focused on playing music and getting drunk than getting people up to sing. Get a better host for the crowd and let people sing. Need to tell whomever is hosting they’re there to entertain, not to get drunk. Lots of potential but a “meh” overall.

Pre concert stop last night to get food and a couple of drinks. Spent over $60 for 2 “snacks” and 2 drinks. Cool, no problem. The bartender with long blond hair does not have the personality to be a bartender. It took us an hour to get our food, pork sandwich and wings, yes they were busy, but when we went to get our food, the bartender blatantly ignored both myself and my husband on 2 separate occasions . She disappeared without a word, another bartender came over to pour some drafts, was asked by others where the other one went, just ignored everyone and walked back off. We have a sand shaker here in Pensacola and it absolutely the opposite. There also appeared to be a ‘manager’ flitting around getting his buddies free? drinks and just not managing. They were definitely not properly staffed for the crowd, or with the right personalities. The regulars do seem to get more and better attention than other patrons, but I’m just absolutely flabbergasted at the service, attitude and overall running of the establishment. Door guy was super nice, outside bartender was super sweet and a guy working behind the bar was out working everyone. 2 employees out of 5, that I saw, on a busy night working is just pathetic. Food would’ve been good if it hadn’t sat for 45 minutes getting cold. Do better

Hey it’s a bar. Usually there is a band after 9pm. Can get crowded after the band starts. There is a pool table. Seating is both inside and outside. Staff is very attentive. The last time we were there they had a taco bar set up, but I don’t think they normally have food. Drinks are on the high side$$$$$ for the area but not for a resort venue.

Went to sandshaker Monday night before Teddy Swims concert. A group of us met up there to have drinks before concert. 2 of us from the group had fraudulent charges taken out of our bank accounts besides our drink checks that we paid. What a disappointment because this is a great place to go for fun. I won’t be returning except to get my money back.

Here on vacation and visited this location and the only reason we came back MULTIPLE nights is because of Marci! What an amazing bartender and people person! We legit felt like a local and enjoyed our time at this location! Marci is absolutely the best! Be sure to visit when she working!!!

I was at this establishment recently be aware they will try to put fraudulent charges on your card if they think you aren’t paying attention I paid for 4 drinks had a 26.00 pending now I have a 290.00 that went through and 206.00 pending …I’ve contacted the police dept , better business bureau, prosecutors office and my atty….Atmosphere was great music was great but be high alert ⚠️ they scam people from out of town and you may not know unless you monitor your statement…..Thumbs down to this establishment and management as it’s likely a common practice if your a visitor….
