This is by far the best Chinese takeout you will find in probably the whole New York. That includes the city. I’ve had so much Chinese food across NYC and a lot of them sadly fell off. Peking Garden in Brewster has held their ground for many years. The consistency of their food, and the pride they take in ownership is why they are #1. They offer menu items that you cant get anywhere else in the whole county, and the flavor is always the best. They serve the freshest vegetables and use the best ingredients to make their dishes really stand out. When I get Peking Garden I have to literally force myself to stop because it’s so good that even when I’m full I just want another bite, and another bite lol.

When I looked at the menu here, I notice Chop Suey. While Chop Suey is relatively very less spicy, it used to be available as “American Chop Suey” in India. I bet it was for clients who did not want it to be too spicy.
I ordered a large here and there it was, with its plethora of vegetables, as the recipe calls for.
I really liked it and the taste of the whole dish. With a little rice, it went in smoothly.

I was a little concerned because the place looks run down but the food was great. It’s a good thing that I’m a true believer to never judge a person or a place from the outside. The restaurant is very old, they been there for 42 years. That explains why the food is good.

PLEASE, please just hire someone to do a deep cleaning so when customers walk in the floors and corners of floors and all the surfaces that customers can see are sparkling clean. Someone can do this. Please just take the time and do it!!!

Was in the area and decided to try them, my regular Chinese take out place is currently going renovations and I needed my fixing lol. Found my normal order in their menu which not many people have. Pleasantly surprised, the owner wasn’t joking about her food being delicious, the only dish we really didn’t like at all was the egg drop soup, it was way too thick for our taste. I think I found our new Chinese food place.
Super friendly staff, the lady in the front took the time to get to know us, I’m guessing she gets a lot of regular which we weren’t.

My Dad always picks up from here, I have not personally gone inside. From the outside it is not very aesthetically pleasing. However, the food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The food has never been an issue! I really wished that they would deliver, I made sure to mention it. I did not catch the name of the owner, I know who she is because she had a t-shirt on that said “Boss Lady”. I said good for you, flaunt it! We chatted for about 10 minutes, very pleasant. If you arrive to pick up park anywhere close by and your order will be delivered to your car. They mean it because I did that and no issues! I will say this, if you plan to use your debit card to pay (not sure about credit card) you will be asked for the HOUSE number attached to card, not the zip code which I’m normally asked to give. I asked why and she said that the bank that she uses for the payment collection wants it done that way. I thought she was crazy and I said it to her! The authorization went right through! Now you know and you’ll be prepared

is place was recommended to me when I first moved to Brewster so I went and ordered the sesame chicken combo, it’s my favorite dish ever. I was obsessed with the flavor and ordered it at least once a week. The owner is very kind and attentive, thank you for always giving me a nice experience.
