I can’t recommend this place enough! The staff are insanely kind, respectful, and attentive. I couldn’t even get my drink half way down before it was refilled! The warm lighting makes the environment feel cozy and the music was a nice touch. Food was AMAZING! We tried the edamame, miso soup, and 6 different rolls. The presentation of the food alone is enough to come back! We’ve ordered take out from here before and even then the amount of care they put into it was amazing! You don’t often find places nowadays that hit every point, but they sure did!!

Came for a quick early dinner – everything was great! Services was warm and friendly, the sushi was excellent, even the guy cleaning up the neighboring table was sweet. Highly recommended!

The noodles I ordered was good, just a bit salty for me but this is not just this Japanese restaurant has salty soup, I guess the Japanese ramen soup is salty for me. The owner and staff were nice and welcoming although I was trying to feel the Japanese vibe of the restaurant but they were playing Chinese music.

We went for Valentine’s Day dinner and understood there would be a longer wait, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The staff appeared poorly trained and uncoordinated. We waited over an hour for one of our meals, only to find out it had been forgotten entirely.
We overheard staff saying the kitchen was backed up, yet three tables around us, who arrived well after we did received their food first. Although we were checked on often, our meals were not brought out together. One person received their food nearly 40 minutes before the last meal came out, which meant we all ate at different times. The forgotten meal was eventually taken to go.
Our waitress (who was the host) was clearly stressed, and I genuinely felt bad for her. It was obvious the kitchen was not communicating accurate wait times to her, which made the situation worse. To top it all off, being told “Happy Valentine’s Day” at the end felt very tone-deaf after the evening was already ruined.
I don’t expect a response only positive feedback seems to get acknowledged.

First visit to Hoden Ramen & Sushi. I had the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. Delicious. I usually get my Ramen fix at Jinya in Downtown Tulsa (which is also excellent), but I would say Hoden was every bit as good, and the parking was much easier. I will come back with the family next time.

I had the ocean world roll and casino roll tonight and molten lava cake. Everything was delicious! My server Nora was the sweetest and I can’t wait to go back. She said they special order the sushi bridge from New York, I was so impressed!
