Excellent customer service. We came in and ordered 50 tacos and beans and rice and they had the food ready in record time. The asada and the carnitas tacos were good but I really like the chicken. The salsas have good flavor but don’t expect anything hot. Overall, a positive experience and I’ll definitely come back when I come through Gallup.

Different sizes of burritos are a rip off! I ordered a medium asada burrito last week. And paid the extra $3 for a large asada and it was smaller than the medium. Ordered a Chicarron, was so salty, don’t recommend it. Called in to make an order of 30 tacos and was told they can’t make that much, just 9-10 tacos. Which I’ve ordered 15 at a time from previous visits! The person taking order asked the cook and I could hear him cussing in the background. I’m trying to support small businesses but if the cooks aren’t consistent, why bother?
$32 for two burritos and a soda!

$10.99 for Nachos that didn’t have much cheese on there. Picture speaks for itself.

Do BETTER TACO SHACK!!!!!!! You have potential!

I THINK Taco Bell taste better. This had no flavor and the tacos had a little bit of meat, and tiny bit of lettuce, cheese and tomatoes, it was expensive for what they were serving I would not recommend it to family and friends. Because I heard they were good but I hated it. Do go not worth it.

I wanted to try something different I ordered a medium shredded beef burrito and thought okay this should be good, but the burrito was dry. The green chili and cheese in the burrito was just a touch of it. Was disappointed but I thought maybe I came on a bad day and this was back in December.
I went back today ordered the same burrito but I add extra green chili and cheese. I ordered not just 1 burrito I got 4 burrito’s total, went to work and I was disappointed again our burrito’s were very very dry and I paid extra for nothing. It seems like they didn’t care what we wanted. I’m sorry to say but I don’t think I’ll be ordering burritos here.

Anita’s shredded red pork burrito was so delicious. I didn’t bother with any other toppings and if there was an option to add any other fillings, I didn’t see it but it didn’t really matter as the shredded pork was so flavorful. It was so good, I ended up going back the next night and ordering it again. Definitely worth the trip.

A Fiesta in My Mouth!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 stars, because I’d give my left flip-flop for another bite)
Listen up, taco lovers, because Taco Shack is the real deal! I stumbled into this place hungrier than a raccoon at a dumpster buffet, and let me tell you, my taste buds threw a full-on mariachi party. The tacos? So good I almost proposed to the al pastor on the spot. Juicy, flavorful, and wrapped in a tortilla so soft it could lull a baby to sleep.
The vibe is like your cool uncle’s backyard BBQ—chill, colorful, and with just the right amount of spice. I ordered the carnitas taco and the badic, and both were so packed with flavor I’m pretty sure they broke the Geneva Convention for deliciousness. The salsas? They’re like a flavor bomb went off—mild to “call the fire department” hot, and I’m here for it.
The staff? Absolute legends. They’re slinging tacos faster than you can say “extra guac,” and they’re so friendly I’m convinced they’re secretly my new best friends. The price? My wallet didn’t even cry—it was like, “Take my money, you beautiful taco wizards.”
10/10, would stuff my face again.
Pro tip: Bring stretchy pants and a napkin, because you’re gonna make a mess and love every second of it!

The first time I ordered from here the burritos were good (pork, potatoes and red chili)good size for a large. Then I tried a different burrito (carne asada, beans, rice and cheese w/ pico) well that was bust, not enough asada meat and to much beans, some rice and cheese hardly any pico. Called back to let them know that the burrito had a few pieces of meat and was told that the meat is portioned out into cups and that’s how they determine how much meat is given. Well you decide (pictures posted) I was offered a replacement of an asada taco ‍♂️. This burrito is 10.00 for the large, is what I ordered but is was not that big. The food is good but I guess I kinda expected to be better ya know? More meat and less other ingredients because you pay a higher price. I hope it gets better.

Basic spot. It’s only takeaway. I got three of the taco specials. Definitely lacking in seasoning, but for a buck 75 they still hit well. Seriously though, cumin, salt, garlic powder? It’s not hard… The gal at the front was awesome

Great food. Not gonna lie, but tacos are tacos. Nothing really separates these from any of the other taco places. The taquitos are Bomb!!! Service is excellent. Price is a bit high, but you will spend a lot more money going to a fast food chain. Definitely stop by here. I’ll have to try more of the menu. Overall a 10/10.
