Was looking for a nice valentines dinner and it was $100 for a glass of wine each, an entrée, and a dessert. The hostess said it would probably be an hour wait for the dinner to come out and that was honestly the smallest problem. They first served dry bread that was not toasted or warmed up with butter and we asked nicely if that’s how they usually served it untoasted or not warmed up and it sounded like that was a mistake and they fixed it which was so nice! We ordered the cod and I’m just saying that this dish was definitely not worth the price as it was very mushy and sort of gross. The dessert on the menu was 3 different flavors of truffles and we got those and they were all the same truffle but with different powders on it and we’re just not good at all. Out of the whole valentines dinner the wine was the best part. It was a super overpriced meal for what you got and service was pretty poor. I would definitely not come here again for food.

Stayed at hotel for the day/night. Ate lunch, it was okay, no significant issues (decent food & service 3/5 stars). Went back for dinner…it was bad. Beyond bad. Served rotten steak. Manager and cook confirmed that it was rancid and shouldn’t have been served. Both plates of salmon were cooked as they should be, however, very disgusting muddy bottom of the river taste, couldn’t eat it. They said it came from Columbia river. They comped the steak, as they should, but nothing off the salmon dinners. Salmon dinners not eaten other that small initial bite. Steak was eaten (half) by a child before we tasted it and discovered that it was rancid. All three dishes should’ve been comped, they were all bad and the manager, cook, and server all stated that none of them should’ve been served tonight. Shame on them charging us anything! They stated that they served 18 ribeye at that point throughout the night but admitted that they sat out for two days and shouldn’t have been served. We are now on watch for food poisoning, not fun especially with a child, the anxiety is immense. Shame on them for serving this, they admittedly knew better. We do NOT recommend. After our experience we discovered an article about a customer in Oct 2025 who contracted serious severe food poisoning from this place and needed medical intervention. If we had seen that before, we would never have gone. Maybe once upon a time this place was decent, not any more. Don’t waste your time, your money, or compromise your health, it’s not worth it.

Truly a below subpar experience. We were seated immediately with reservations once the dining room opened. However, our table was dirty and the window was disgusting with a ton of handprints, food smears, and coloring all over it. Not sure why the dining room had been closed for hours and not cleaned. The wait to get our food after being seated was well over an hour until we got food in front of us. We constantly had to wait for drink refills, the Prime Rib special came overcooked to the point I thought it was a completely different order (took another 15 min to try and get this resolved), and ended up having to get our own to-go boxes. The bread served prior to the meal was the most dry, old tasting store bought type bread. We came for Mother’s Day and were considering returning for our anniversary to stay but we will not be returning to the “resort.”

We stayed overnight at the resort.
Two of five dinner meals were inedible. The other 3 were ok.
The cod was mushy and the batter coating was greasy.
Our breakfast in the morning was also not good. The “hot items”, eggs and meat were stone cold. The waiter said he would pass along our remarks, but did not even apologize.
We will not eat there again.

I can not recommend the Oregon Garden Resort Restaurant. Food lacks in taste and appearance. The “chicken ceasar salad” was woefully underdressed and the chicken pounded so thin and overcooked it lacked taste. The Wagu Burger (questionable if it is Wagu) was raw (ordered MR). It was the waitress who identified it as undercooked. The coconut shrimp, over-fried to the point of being dark brown. Disappointingly, the wine menu does NOT highlight the wonderful and bountiful wines produced in Oregon. Washington and CA wines are sold at the Oregon Garden! Why? I do give points to the fries and to an attentive waitress. My recommendation, eat somewhere in Silverton before you visit.

Amazing Restaurant! Went on a Friday night and everything was perfect. We ate in the restaurant but the lounge/bar had live music so we had some drinks and enjoyed that after dinner. Complimentary bread is delicious and all the food we got was top notch. They have started to decorate the grounds for Christmas so you also get a nice ambiance from the lights outside. Service was great and food came out in a timely matter. Will be back for more!

It’s a great place to spend time and money locally. Must see the vastness for oneself. Excellent for family, including dogs. You may dine on the patio with your canine. Nice patio as well. Check out the photos. Be sure to take photos and post for all to see. Thanks, Cory, for great service. There are steps to the patio. I did not see a ramp for wheelchairs. To be fair, I didn’t walk outside to the patio. The photo is from the booth we sat at. There is live music Fri/Sat. Nights. Also can book a room and not have to drive. Enjoy. (The sandwich is BBQ tri tip with a cup of homemade bacon potato soup.(choice of side) $16 for the special that day.

I’m here for independence event so I want something to eat and I got here. A slow restaurant , don’t really have a lot of customers and definitely have some nice view over here.
The shrimp are so big and fresh, it’s really good! And the lemonade drink are actually good too but the peach Long Island are not that great tbh so …
Well, yeah they are about average. Price could be expensive but it’s okay to have some dinner here.

Absolutely disgusting. We walked in and were sat at a nasty booth. Then we were served ROTTEN ribeye after we ate half of it. We sent it back to the ‘cook’ and they even confirmed it was bad. Extremely disgusted and guess what? the person who ordered the ribeye has extreme anxiety when trying new restaurants and she trusted this place and it totally let her down. Oh! Also this was our first time here, so yeah, never coming again.

I took my wife here for our anniversary and I wasn’t disappointed. The waiting staff was friendly, and the food was great. We had the coconut prawns, bacon wrapped dates, and the Cowboy Tomahawk 22 oz ribeye. We’ll be sure to come back.
