So good!!! We have never been before so we thought we would try something new. We didn’t realize we had gotten there right at open, but the gentleman, was quick and ready to serve us!! It was so good!! So hot! The fries were perfect, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. And the burger was juicy!! It cost more than we expected but it was delicous

I wanted to visit this restaurant simply because it was on my favorite movie Maximum Overdrive. I asked the gentleman at the front counter if the restaurant was in the movie he said yes and didn’t say anything more. The cheeseburger and fries was fresh and tasty. The pecan pie dessert was prepacked Little Debbie… (don’t even bother). The employee or owners attitude left something to be desired.

French’s is the best. Best burgers in town, get all the way (mustard, chili, slaw, onions). People complain about the attitudes of the workers but it’s just because they don’t understand their personalities. The lady is as sweet as can be if you actually talk to her, and yes the place is a little run down and needs some polishing, but don’t read a book by it’s cover

I’ve had significantly better experiences in the past with French’s. Ordered a couple of cheeseburgers and fries to go. Like my previous visits the fries were hot and tasty as they are cooked to order. Sadly the same couldn’t be said for the burgers. Had I been blindfolded as for a taste test I would have been hard pressed to have identified them as burgers. Except for the condiments they had next to no flavor and the texture was more like a minced meat than that of a typical ground. Very disappointing to say the least. That said, all my previous stops here were very satisfactory and as a person with many years experience in the food service industry I know that even the finest 5 star restaurants have an off day occasionally. So I won’t write French’s off yet without at least one more try. I sincerely hope that this experience was just a fluke and not a new norm.

My friend and I visited French’s Burgers last Friday, and I was pleasantly surprised at the juiciness of the burger. It was a real treat. Don’t let the building or the decorum fool you, though don’t go looking for a fine dining experience, either. The burgers here are solid (they were all we ordered) with various toppings (fried egg, chili, onions, cheese, condiments) for less than $3-3.50 (w/ cheese) for a 1/4-pound burger. Fries and drinks are extra. I would recommend giving French’s a try

Exceptional, old-fashion burgers served Carolina style (with chili, slaw, mustard, and onions). We rarely eat burgers and my husband ate two! Love that he is local and has been doing business for 21 years. Worth the stop and we will definitely visit the next time we are in the area.

My favorite burger spot in town! Always delicious, fresh food that’s reasonably priced. The owner is nice, if not a little gruff but NEVER unfriendly. The people complaining need to chill on expecting employees to bend over backwards grinning like a fool just because they graced the establishment with their presence.

French’s has great burgers – nice and juicy! However, customer service was not the greatest. Floor was dirty and cook did not wear gloves. Wish we could have experienced this place in its glory days.

We went to French’s for lunch today with the family. I read the reviews and had to try it, Dont expect anything special and I loved it, my daughter who is a picky eater asked for seconds.. The menu is simple and the owner is a nice guy if you take the time to talk to him and say hi..We only waited for our fresh food for about 10 mins which is worth it for the freshness anything is better then the fillers at other burger restaurants. So my best advice try the burgers get some fries and a nice cold soda and sit down relax and enjoy the rest of your day..

Someone should teach them how to put condiments on the food… run down inside and out. Nothing done in 20 years to at least make it look clean. If they knew how to apply condiments I would have left 2 stars. If you want a great burger go to Merritts….
