So while I will always call this place the Old Tap 30, I must say it is nice to see they didn’t really change too much.
We started off with the fried ravioli, and the sauce it comes with is AMAZING. I will say I was surprised to taste how sweet they were. But overall solid 4/5.
I got the Tommy Devito, and let me say this…the hoagies are definitely a take home meal lol. A solid 4.75/5, especially if you love sun dried tomatoes. Had the Italian pasta salad…fine.
I will say, they don’t do plates or metal silverware, it’s all boxed and wrapped.
They still have the amazing beer and cider selection and the best crew!

The food was fantastic, and the service at the bar was exceptional. We truly enjoyed our meal overall, sandwiches were stellar!! I did dock one star due to an interaction that left a bit of a sour note to our experience after being prior Tap 30 goers… I’m not sure if the gentleman at the service station was having a rough day, but when I politely asked if they happened to have any hot sauce (my husband wanted some for his sandwich), I was met with a rude look and a “what for?” I explained that we had ordered sandwiches and he would just like some as he does at any place we eat at, and was told, again in a dismissive tone, that my husband had hot peppers on his sandwich. I get it, not a big deal, but I don’t feel that asking a simple yes or no question about whether an establishment carries hot sauce is unreasonable. It was a small moment, but it did impact the overall experience.
Photo of the Janice Rossi, loved it!!

It would have been nice to have a waiter rather then have to figure out how to place an order online. Plus at the end of the order it expects you to tip. Tip for what? I had to pick up my own food. It cost me $40 for one sub and a appetizer. The sub was just ok and the Fried Mozzarella wasn’t good at all.

I just had one of the greatest hoagies of my life…. in northern Michigan. This place is insanely good! Huge beer menu, great cocktails and the food is just wow. Going to be here all the time with the family.

Madison is behind the bar and very fun! The best east coast hoagie! You must try the meatballs, either as an appetiser or in the hoagie! And the vodka sauce…così buono! We also tried the fried ravioli, excellent with a side of vodka sauce. My wife had the chicken cutlet hoagie and said it was the best ever, and she is from Brooklyn! We will be back when next in Petoskey!

Best sandwiches in town, they blow subway, Jimmy John’s and anyone else’s out of the water. The size of the sandwichs are huge with the best ingredients around, and the basil ranch is amazing. Well worth every penny.

Zero service. Self seated. No one approached after we sat down. Self ordered through QR code. Received a text afterwards that I could come pick my food up in the back of the restaurant. Had to walk up to the bar to get our own drinks.
Portions were decent. I ordered the #11 Henry Hill. The chicken was fried (which was not called out on the menu) issue was the chicken was so fried it was hard and paper thin.
With prices at $20-$30 per person I wouldn’t recommend for a night out. I was hoping for a good experience, and was looking forward to a good hoagie and was let down.

Wow. Finally a place that gets it. Meats? Imported. Cutlets? Breaded and Fried. Bread? Semolina stick no question bout it. Tap 30? Never heard of it. Wise Guys is the best new spot in town and it’s not even close. Forget the past and run boldly into the future. Much love

The best sandwich North of the 45° parallel. You won’t find a better chicken parm or cold cut sub in Michigan. Fair prices and the best staff, if you’re thinking about going, go.
