I really don’t appreciate being served a “Soda Float” with completely flat soda.
When I took just 2 sips of the soda float I instantly was put off because the soda was flat.
I didn’t want to really complain but it was just that bad. Now I will be honest I have been going to this ice creamery for 20+ years and the ice cream is very good. Never had any issues before here.
When I said something to the girl at the register she apologized and said they just had the soda machine fixed. Instead of offering me something else she says ” I can not give you anything else because I took 2 sips of the soda.”. How is one to know the soda is flat without tasting it? That being said I was charged for the the float. I told them they could throw it away and then got a come of ice cream which they gladly charged me for with the biggest of smiles.
If the soda wasn’t flat the owner could have just gave me a small cup with soda from the machine to prove that the soda was good. After I complained about the float the owner was then tinkering around with the soda machine for a few minutes.
How about since the soda was flat you replace it with another float with soda that was fresh. How about offering me something in exchange for the float I watched you throw away
Nope. Just smiles and sorry it’s my fault I ordered a float and I should have known the so the soda was flat.
After 20 years of loyalty to this business I will never spend another dime there.

Shame on the owner of this ice cream shop. I went last night and one of the items ordered was an ice cream soda. Once received and tried the ice cream soda, the soda was flat. I mentioned it to the girl who help me and she just brushed it off. I paid and got in my car when I saw the owner sitting down eating ice cream. Tried the ice cream soda again and it was horrible. I went back to the window and spoke to another girl who worked there and she apologized and did mention they just “had the soda machine fixed” a couple days ago. I told her I wanted to speak to the owner who came to the window and I told him there was a problem with his soda. He went and was doing something to the machine. Never once apologized for selling me something bad. What horrible service! I ordered a vanilla cone to replace the bad ice cream soda and they actually charged me for the replacement cone.
Don’t go here, there are better ice cream stores that actually care what they serve their customers.

My son loved the banana shake! I asked for strawberry with hot fudge. They gave me soft ice cream and when I said I wanted the hard ice cream they said no and that it was MY responsibility to ask for the right ice cream. Apparently you have to say that you want hard ice cream. Customer service is more important to me than the product.

Will not be returning to this place. Plenty of other ice cream shops that deserve my money. These young ladies are rude and have no manners. How do you get an order wrong then have the nerve to get upset with the customer instead of correcting it. It is pretty simple you scoop the ice cream you serve it to the customer and they hand you the money. This is not rocket science. Take pride in what you do!
