My husband and I stopped in today for lunch. We’ve lived in Freehold for 18 years and were looking to try something new and were blown away. My husband is a chef himself and he’s never 100% satisfied with a meal out but today that changed. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. We both had a tough time deciding what we wanted because everything on the menu sounded amazing but we narrowed it down and promised to come back to experience the other items. We took an order of the bacon jam wings (spicy) and the pineapple slawsa to go (both specials that should be a staple—I could eat that slawsa for days—great with tortilla chips!). We had them for dinner tonight, along with our leftovers, and everything was equally as incredible! Oh…and the homemade chips?!

Great food definitely recommend, the service and food was amazing I did pick up and the food was nice and hot when I got home. We got the cluck Norris and a pork roll egg n cheese on a roll. It was amazing definitely new favorite breakfast spot.

Krust Cafe Freehold is truly an American gem! The bread here is nothing short of patriotic perfection – fresh from the oven and utterly addicting! The chocolate bread is particularly, deeply, utterly delicious – it’s a game-changer! Fresh out of the oven, it’s as good as it gets. The rolls and loaves are a testament to local craftsmanship. Even when ordering through DoorDash, the food arrived incredibly fresh, hot, and perfectly packaged, showing dedication to excellence.
The staff are incredibly friendly and embody that welcoming American spirit, making everyone feel right at home. It’s truly a community spot, a place where people connect and a real slice of Americana. Tried this place for a breakfast sandwich and was so happy i did. The bread was so nice warm and crispy and fresh and the bacon was extra crispy exactly how i ordered. Definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. 100% recommend
