I’ve been coming to Mi Taco on Beechnut and Eldridge for a while now, and the food is always amazing! Everything is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made just right. The tacos are packed with flavor, and you can really taste the quality in every bite.
I realized today that even though I’ve enjoyed so many great meals here, I’ve never taken the time to leave a review—so here it is! The service is always friendly, and they never disappoint. That’s exactly why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Walked in to get some tacos during my lunch break but when it came to ordering Juan at the register assisted us with the menu and at the end he recommended me to get the quesabirras. I am glad he did because they were amazing! The quesabirras were very flavorful and they were stuffed!

We were looking for Mexican food for brunch and found Mi Taco Taqueria. We were greeted when we walked with a hello and a smile. While we were deciding what to order he said that they had fresh made carnitas and menudo. So I ordered a menudo with a carnitas taco and my wife got the chilaquiles verdes with the carnitas for the meat. We also ordered 2 horchatas to drink. The food came out fast and was hot. I tried the menudo first and was very happy with the flavor and all the seasonings. I then dressed it up with the onion, cilantro, lime and jalapeños. This took it to the next level. I would rate the menudo 5/5. Next I tried the carnitas taco. Again it came out fresh and hot. The flavor and texture were good 4.5/5. Lastly I got to try the chilaquiles Verdes. This was done well I wish the green sauce was a little bit more spicy but overall good flavor. We added the carnitas to the plate and it complimented well. I would rate it 4.5/5. Overall we will go back again and eat. The service was friendly and that means a lot to me when I visit a restaurant.

Came in right before the expected freeze with my best friend , who highly recommend this place. I was craving a stew, a broth, a soup ,or something savory,hot, & something that would remind me of my grandmas cooking.
We were greeted warmly & instantly felt like home, like I was visiting my aunts house.
Great selection and variety in their menu and we were informed that everything is made from scratch and in-house made, everything. That was wonderful to hear, that everything is fresh.
So my friend went with the menudo and some guacamole and chips. I went with the Frijoles Charros and a “Medium Pastor Quesadilla.” And a Hibiscus fresca.
When our food arrived I was overwhelmed to see that the medium quesadilla was the largest quesadilla I’ve ever had! The Pastor was so flavourul, tender, and definitely the best I’ve had in a long long time. The charro beans felt like home, my friend enjoyed his menudo, and his horchata fresca. We both were delighted by the whole experience.
Definitely a gem , that deserves praise & recognition. A instant favorite, 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Great spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. I had the quesabirrias and a quesadilla, and both were full of flavor and tasted just like homemade food—honestly reminded me of my mom’s cooking. Definitely a comfort food kind of place.

Holy cow this place is amazing! Sometimes fate has to intervene to give you a good taco. I was literally stopped at the red light on Beechnut and thought some good tacos would be nice right about now. Lo and behold I see Mi Taco to my right and decided why not, I’m hungry anyways.
I was not expecting much honestly but this place blew everything out of the water. I ordered 4 street tacos with pastor, carne asada, barbacoa, and chorizo. Everything from the generous amounts of meat, taste, freshness and even price was just amazing.
I love these types of establishments because you feel their passion. Family run and operated and you can taste the care they put into their foods. They have some amazing creations Including the ramen birria and steak fries and tortas I am definitely going to try out next. If you’re in the Alief and Chinatown area, I highly recommend trying these guys out. My mind is blown by how good this place is!

I absolutely love this place!! The staff is so nice and friendly you can tell it’s really family owned and I love that! The food is soooo delicious. I haven’t had anything I don’t like from here. The green salsa and the one that comes with the chips and salsa is to die for! I try to come at least once a week cause I love it that much! I hope it lasts forever! I’ve seen some places come and go in this part of the strip center but I really really hope this one stays! Don’t walk run there for the most delicious food!!

Came in at 12pm and ordered a birria ramen at the counter and was shortly after brought out to me ~5 minutes later, spent 11 dollars including tax. Ramen was cooked perfectly which says something to me as in the past I’ve had birria ramen be way too overcooked and soggy. Safe to say this is the best I’ve had personally. I absolutely LOVE the ambience, this place is a perfect mix between casual and formal dine in experience. Great prices, great food, and great environment.
