We chose the 4 courses dinner and opted out the truffle because we have smaller appetite and never be a fan of truffle. Sea food was amazing, flavor was surprising and well balanced. One of the course is very infused with Japanese cuisine elements and we absolutely love it. For a Michelin 2 stars restaurant though, I would expect the service at a higher standard – although the sommelier acknowledged their mistake later and the classic pairing is great, they never presented the wine list nor introduced the wine pairing options.

Great atmosphere and by far my favorite Michelin restaurant in Paris!

Loved the croissant-like bread. They forgot butter for my table but it was fine since I thought it was perfect without butter.

The service was top notch. The waiters were very friendly. When I told them I didn’t like a particular fish dish very much, the chef sent a replacement very soon.

The food was awesome. I liked most of them and loved some of them. The tomato was out of this world. Seriously I could have come for just the tomato! But they gave so much more. The rabbit was easily the best I’ve had. The strawberry flavored grapes were awesome as well.

The pacing was good too. We had the four course menu and it took just around three hours.

Will recommend to anyone who comes to Paris.

Le Clarence gave us a night to remember.
Real candle-lit glow, exquisite flavours in every dish, and service that was both refined and genuinely friendly. A special shoutout to Monsieur Roberto, who made the special night a little bit more memorable!

Amazing place with stunning interiors and ambience. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and nice. Food was excellent for the most part and 4 course menu left is more than full. The only negative thing to mention: the lady at the entrance coat check was rude and ignorant which was a surprising attitude for the restaurant of this level. Overall: great experience if you want to experience haute cuisine..

My wife and I visited Paris for our first time. We were absolutely blown away with how good Le Clarence was – the experience, the food, the wine pairing, the service is well deserving of 2 Michelin stars. We’ve enjoyed plenty of experiences and my wife has labelled this her #1 in the world.

Whilst we ordered 5 course and premium wine pairing, there was just so much food throughout the night.

We love the unknown and surprises throughout the whole night. It made it fun and warm to engage with the team.

Highly recommend Le Clarence!

My god, we did the lunch menu in 3 sequences and had 20+ different things delivered to our table. The pace started out slowly and gradually began to pick up after the many amuse bouches. After the bread course, they clobbered us with a barrage of food. Everything was for the most part delicious. The technique is flawless and there is a bit of Asian overlap through some traditional Japanese ingredients and a course of Chinese xiao long bao. The wines were very well curated and they continued topping us off, which was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is very elegant and classic but not at all stuffy. Service was very meticulous yet friendly and warm. Amazing experience and we look forward to having chef Pele’s expanded dinner menu next time.

This was the best meal my husband and I have ever had. Until last night, our best meal ever was probably Quince in San Francisco, but this has topped it. This restaurant deserves another star. The service is impeccable and the food is absolutely outstanding. The restaurant itself is so lovely, situated in an old and beautiful 19th century mansion. Anyone looking for an elegant evening with some of the most amazing and creative food in existence today should come here. Bravo to the staff, and especially the chefs!!!!

Went here for my wife’s birthday a year ago — honestly one of the biggest disappointments we’ve had dining out. Overpriced and underwhelming, and nothing close to what we expected. Now, a year later, we’ve realized how many of these glowing reviews seem fake. Definitely not worth it.

This wasn’t just lunch. It was fireworks, and I mean that quite literally.

It started off composed and precise, each course building quietly, drawing you in. And then, with the main dish, everything exploded: the table filled with small plates, side elements, unexpected flavours, a perfectly orchestrated finale that somehow still felt spontaneous.

The staff was exceptional throughout. Not over-present, not stiff, just perfectly in sync with the rhythm of the meal. Timing of the cloche reveals was razorsharp, almost theatrical but never showy just right.

Every dish was seasonal to its core. No forced creativity, just ingredients at their peak. The cherries from southern France served with dessert (first of the year) were a quiet highlight: large, sweet, and sun-drenched.

A small gesture at the end, a subtle surprise marking our 15th anniversary, was equally wel executed. Thoughtful, discreet, and personal.
This is a place where someone clearly thinks about what the guest feels.

This is not the place for a quick bite or casual indulgence.
It’s a full-scale culinary experience, executed with intensity, elegance, and absolute precision. Will come back when visiting Paris again.

Apologies for the late review. Life got in the way. A wonderfully elegant yet personal Michelin experience. Staff is wonderful and attentive starting from the hostess at the front door, to our cocktails and hor d’oeuvres in the drawing room. Our table was beautifully set. The Sommelier was informative and kind. Each course was amazing! The wine pairing perfect!! My husband, daughter and I savored every morsel and enjoyed their selection of wines. We were the last table to finish and enjoyed some conversation and fun with the staff. This was a most memorable experience on our last evening in Paris. Nous aimons Clarence ! Merci pour cette excellente soirée!
