The pizza we got was the worst Pizza I have ever had. It had an awful smell, the pizza was over cooked, the ends were curling over….
There was no time to send it back.
Joe Aurelio would be very upset.
In my opinion, pizza is mostly good or great. This was super bad. I should’ve taken a picture.
Hope you guys can improve…
And then when I found her, we got our salads right before our pizzas came out.
I know we weren’t her only table. I’m sure she was a little busy, but the place really wasn’t busy to where she couldn’t have handled us. And a lot of restaurants will give you another table until after your food goes out. I don’t know how aurelios works, but most of them do that.
The pizza was okay. I’ve had much better pizza from aurelios. Maybe it was just the one in Cedar Lake. That’s the first time I had eaten there in quite a while.
Once the waitress was caught up, things went pretty smoothly.
MY BILL $20.42 Nah overpriced won’t be back for FRIDAY BUFFET
Small space, limited seating but the servers were quick, helpful and very efficient.
Pizza was good…. Great mushroom and sausage ;light on the sauce…at first we thought it was a white pizza. Antipasto salad for 2 easily fed all 4 of us. Limited drink menu…. No Chianti or Lambrusco..
Plenty of leftovers.
Ordered a pizza and received a burnt mess.
Could only offer a credit on the account for next visit or remake a pizza with a 2hr delivery window.
I’ll start negative and finish with the positives.
Negatives: Service was subpar. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Tuesday night and it appeared understaffed. It took way longer than most restaurants to get the server to see us after being seated. We ordered garlic bread as an appetizer and it contained an excess amount of salt.
Positives: our server was great and did her job well. The garlic was still delicious even with too much sodium. We got a Medium 13″ Stuffed Pepperoni Pizza and it was great. Pizza had the right temperature, was deliciously messy, and the stringy cheese seemed fresh based off of its consistency. The sauce was tangy with a hint of sweetness. It was good.
Overall I would go back. The subpar staffing for accommodating guests is worth the food.
