Very good dim sum, especially the savory options. All the food was very clean, nothing was greasy, and the flavors were clear. The portions are on the smaller side, but the prices aren’t high and the bites are plump and filling. The sweet options were less exciting in comparison. The tea was not very good. The hot pot looked really good, but we didn’t try it.
There was only one waiter, so service was slow, and our tea kept running out. The atmosphere was pleasant, but a little cold.

Wow! Just, wow! The food was amazing!! For starters, they had so many options but at the same time it felt like it was the perfect amount of options. The service was also amazing. I recommend coming in around 12 PM or earlier so you beat the lunch rush, because trust me people start barreling in around 12:30. We got the soup dumplings, dumplings, and oh my goodness, the lotus leaf rice which is a dim sum classic, was some of the best I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot). I think this restaurant is a go to when visiting Chinatown, little Italy, or even NYC in general.

I came here for dinner for an event recently and had an amazing time. Located in Little Italy, this AYCE hot pot spot is a great cozy meal on a cold day. Service here is great and the restaurant is spacious.
Their dim sum here is pretty solid and I would say that their hot pot is pretty high-quality. All of the meats we got were good quality, and I loved their fish. They also had a buffet-style area where you can grab veggies, fish balls, and other hot pot ingredients that was very well-maintained and clean. I also love hot the hot pot includes unlimited soft drinks and dessert as well! The dessert was actually really good. Overall, great spot and I would definitely come back.

A new AYCE hotpot location right in the heart of Little Italy. Attentive staff, very good assortment of different meats and fresh seafood to order from the wait staff, huge selection of fresh vegetables and the usual hotpot ingredients from the refrigerated area to plate yourself. Their broths are flavorful and the staff does not refill with plain boiled water, instead, they actually refill with your broth chosen at the beginning. Thus giving you a consistent flavorful meal throughout. Good selection of the usual sauces generally used at hotpot. You can order fresh dim sum at a fraction of the cost when you have hotpot(requirement). The restaurant has a refreshing selection of desserts from fresh fruit and mango pudding to cannoli(s). Delicious warm pineapple pork buns are available(go quick), Good selection of soft drinks to pick from the refrigerator. Comfortable spacious seating between tables. Hostess/waitress Olivia provided excellent service checking in with the tables and made sure everything was great on our table. There will be a wait for seating during peak dinner time. Call for reservations recommended. There are military/veteran, senior discounts. The price is definitely fair(approx. $51 plus or minus) for the amount of food and choices you can order. I’ve been here 3 times already and each time was a positive experience.

this might be my new favorite hotpot spot in chinatown. it is AYCE and they have so many meat, veggie, fish ball, and even dessert options. we left super full and super satisfied. i really enjoyed the pork bone soup, it was a little salty, but super flavorful so really made everything i cooked in it tasty. service was also great, we were provided aprons and even hair ties for those of us that had long hair. i would definitely come back again.

Very fresh food with lots of variety — plenty of choices for both meat and veggies. The free dessert was surprisingly good and felt very thoughtful. Our server Andrew was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and quick to help. Overall a great dining experience, I’d happily come back and recommend it to friends.

This place is definitely good to come try out. The service is good and you definitely won’t walk out smelling like chinese BBQ. The lady host Olivia is beautiful too. Their dim sum per dish order is 2 dollars i think if you get with Hot pot too. They have my favorite Sprite + Tea too.

Ambiance (4/5): The establishment has several available tables for the hot pot service.
Service (4/5): We ended up waiting for 25 minutes to be seated (walk-in) and were annoyed because the whole time there were empty tables (I’m talking like 40% of the restaurant was empty). I’m sure they were being held for reservations but didn’t like how it was being handled despite having our full party waiting.
The restaurant is understaffed because there were only a few on the floor able to take orders from all the tables. When we were seated, it took forever to get our soup orders in. However, when one of our friends ordered the mala, they didn’t charge extra for switching to the pork.
For those that can’t handle spice, warning that the mala option was way too spicy even for me. It was a hair too spicy that I couldn’t quite enjoy the meal without having to clear my sinuses or eat as quickly as I can so the numbness didn’t set in haha
Some meat cuts were definitely more premium than others but once ordered, we definitely got our money’s worth. After tip/tax, it was $55/pp. The selection of AYCE veggies was great. Th dessert bar was extensive and bite size that you could try them all. They even have mini pineapple buns and egg tarts!! Sad that they ran out of the egg tarts when I was ready to have them. Additionally, the soft drink selection was HUGE of varieties of diet and regular, teas, etc.

From the moment we walked into Easy Joy Hotpot Dimsum Buffet, Olivia welcomed us with a warm smile and walked us through the hotpot process step by step. The food was fresh and flavorful, not heavy on the stomach, a lot of variety and our server Hao was fantastic, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Even the pastry chef came out to greet us and offered excellent dessert suggestions. The mango tiramisu was my absolute favorite! And the prices were great! Highly recommend this spot and I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

Ever since my breakup I’ve felt a hole in my heart. I was walking Manhattan’s buzzing Chinese-Italian streets, numb with a familiar ennui when I was hit with a spark of hope. “Easy Joy Dim Sum.” Here I was, struggling to build meaning, but this unassuming dim sum spot purportedly grants easy joy.
Down I sat, anxiously awaiting levity and hope as I ordered chicken soup dumplings.
Apparently, Taio Cruz is the proprietor of this establishment because all it did was break break break my heart.
Slow service, tepid soup dumplings, and an air of false promises and hot pot vapor.
Come to Easy Joy Dim Sum & AYCE Hot Pot if you want some mid-tier cheap Chinese food. Just don’t let its false promises break your heart.
