they have a different special every day but everything they have is fantastic to eat today I had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy white gravy with green beans. It’s just enough food and just the right price! The staff is very attentive! The games are not very attentive to my winning!

Interesting building. Rustic interior. We had the jalapeno poppers, a tenderloin, and a hamburger horseshoe. The cheesesauce was fantastic! All were very good. You get a lot for your money. We had a lot of leftover food. Service was friendly, and good. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Springfield again.

The pregnant lady when you walk in she doesn’t greet you she talks on her phone to whoever she’s so worried about she’s to concerned about them to then she sits at the counter at the end of the counter with her vape on her phone and continues to play on her phone and vape and then decides she’s gonna walk over slowly and calmly and gather my food after I told her I only had a 30 minute break and she assured me it only take me 15 minutes to get my food then while sitting there they decided to talk about how nasty the ice machine was as they was putting new ice in it served to the customers.

Had there Fried Chicken tonight for the first time and hands down best chicken I’ve had in a long time. There mashed potatoes and white gravy were like how my grandma use to make them. Thank u for great food and your staff was polite and friendly.

Great fried chicken!!! Called ahead and picked up 20 minutes later. Even tho they were packed full the lone waitress got my food to me as quickly as she could. Will definitely be calling again

Arrived to restaurant and the waitress Karen blatantly did not acknowledge us for over 20 minutes and just continued to walk by and assist other customers until my sister finally asked if someone could assist us and she replied she thought the other waitress had helped us and we said no. Jackie was amazing and provided excellent service of all my years living in Springfield this was my first time supporting this local business establishment. It is now 2023, and saddening that racism still exists. I am a highly educated black woman with a very established career and to receive this treatment was not acceptable. Unfortunately I will no longer support this form of treatment. You must treat paying customers with dignity and respect no matter the race or gender.
