I’ve been to Boca Fish House twice so far, and will definitely be a place I go back to again and again. The chef is the owner and he cooks EVERYTHING… his wife bakes the bread and the desserts. Let’s just say they know exactly what they’re doing. Everything I’ve had is just insane.
The flavor profiles and cook of everything is unlike anything I’ve had before. Everything is fresh and as described. I have no notes.

Everything about the book of Fish House was just excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave us beautiful service. This place is small and a single chef. (I think he is the owner?) cooks all the food. Everyone at our table of eight was blown away by how fresh and delicious the seafood was. For dessert we had chocolate cake and Keylime pie – again perfection.

Chef/owner Daniel Cournoyer is doing a remarkable job at his very popular spot. This is probably my 5th visit since I discovered BFH a little over a year ago, and each time the small, intimate space has been filled with happy patrons. No surprise, the chef continues to wow us with his excellent cuisine. Here you can count on the freshest top-quality fish, cooked perfectly and with imagination. Each dish always seems to have an element that takes it to another level.
Chef Cournoyer is doing all the cooking… and it’s so intimate, you feel a connection to the kitchen. The plates arrive piping hot… always love that, so rare.
All the salads are great. Tonight, I chose my favorite…Crispy Romaine with Granny Smith Apple Hearts of palm, crumbled blue cheese, pancetta, candied walnuts, white balsamic vinaigrette. Great combination of flavors, really a light dish. Others enjoyed their excellent Caesars. Don’t overlook the warm rolls they bring out with their special dip… so good and perfect along with the salads.
The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with roasted corn salsa, grape tomatoes, baby arugula, garlic-cilantro- chili aioli is a real winner. My entre tonight was fantastic. Jumbo Lump Crab Stuffed Giant Shrimp, sweet pea risotto, white wine lemon butter. Loved it! Tuna Steak, crispy fried rice cake, stir fried vegetables, garlic chili aioli, tomato salsa was also a winner. Crème Brule and Key Lime rounded out another great meal here.
For wine, a bottle of ZD Chardonnay was perfect. (also avail by the glass)
Samantha provided service to match the incredibly high quality of the meal. She’s knowledgeable, personable and efficient.

We had a wonderful experience! I ordered the grouper and my husband had the yellowtail snapper — both were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the quality of the fish.
The dishes are very well crafted and delicately prepared, with great attention to flavor and detail.
The apple, blue cheese, and walnut salad was also outstanding. And the chocolate cake with chocolate pudding filling was very good as well. The place is small and cozy, but the service was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.
Without a doubt, the best seafood restaurant in the area. We will definitely be coming back!

Very small restaurant with more outdoor seating than inside. Unusual menu combinations attracted me and my nurse. Very impressed that our entrée were still in the skillets in which they were prepared. The staff seemed to go out,of its way to be,attentive without being obtrusive. Thoroughly enjoyed my key lime pie. Portions were big enough for almost a second meal.

Small restaurant with big flavor! We randomly found this restaurant for our last night of wanting seafood on our trip. True small business atmosphere. The service was amazing and the food was sooo good. I had oysters and a seafood dish that was out of this world. Every sauce was homemade and made with passion. Even the plating was unique!

Why didn’t I come here sooner? Dined with my family and we all different dishes and we all enjoyed our choices. I loved the tuna entree! It was smoky and fresh and flavorful in all the right ways and the miso glaze with the little brush to add as much as I liked (which was a lot) was a lovely presentation and added another depth of flavor. Gem of a location and incredibly impressive the chef and owner is solo in the kitchen. I hope this place stays for a very long time!
