Call Food What It Is, And Please Give Vegetarians an Actual Meal
Came in for breakfast and ordered the burrito without bacon, because if you look at the menu, literally every burrito automatically includes meat. Bacon, ham, bacon again… take your pick. Online I see a healthy burrito though.
There’s technically one “Vegetarian” item on the menu, but it’s just a pile of grilled veggies with cheddar. No beans, no tofu, no eggs, no real protein. Just “Here’s a sautéed garden, enjoy.” It reads more like a reluctant afterthought than an actual dish.
So I ordered the Breakfast Burrito minus bacon and what I got was so greasy the plate looked like it needed a 3,000-mile oil change.
Decent flavor, but unbelievably oily. The tortilla didn’t stand a chance.
Then there’s the hash browns.
And I need to emphasize this: the menu very clearly says “Served with hashbrowns.”
But what I got were tater tots.
Good tots! I love tots!
But this is Athens, Georgia, home of Waffle House mastery. People here know the difference between:
shredded hash browns
diced hash browns
and T A T E R T O T S
You can’t just rebrand tots as hash browns like we’ve never seen a potato before. That’s potato identity theft.
Friendly staff, but the menu badly needs:
Honest labeling (tots ≠ hash browns)
At least ONE real vegetarian option with protein
A burrito that doesn’t need a dipstick
Until then, I’ll remember the tots fondly, because at least they weren’t pretending to be something they’re not.

We stopped by on a random Wednesday. Only one other couple in the restaurant. Was kind of off putting, but we decided to give it a go. We were greeted immediately and our server was attentive and nice. We had the calamari as an appetizer and it was good and fresh, it just needed some salt. We got the tomahawk steak and ribeye. Both steaks were very good, but presentation was a bit lack luster. For the price though, I’d say it was well worth it. We will definitely be back and it would be perfect with very minor adjustments. =)

I hate to be one to complain but we just came from dinner and I have quite a few problems. Let me start of with that we walked in at 6:15 and there was nobody in the restaurant but a couple that walked in after us and that’s where I should have turned around. The restaurant itself was clean and all the tables were set. The hostess seats us and then comes to take our drink orders. He got a Pibb and I decided to get a mojito as it was still happy hour. His pibb came out as a Diet Coke and I had to go get the hostess/waitress/bartender to replace it (I say that as there was one lady working the front doing all 3 jobs). Then since it’s happy hour we decided to do onion rings as an appetizer. We received 5 onion rings that tasted fine but had light burn on a few. Finally after we get our appetizer I finally get my drink which mind you was about 15 minutes at least since we ordered drinks. That was no mojito. At the best it was lime juice pulp as I couldn’t taste any mint or see any as well as tasted no rum. We get our food and it was fine. He got a chicken parm and I got the NY strip special that they had. He didn’t care for his chicken as it was very thin and tough but said the pasta and sauce was good. The NY strip I ordered was very thin and well done, I ordered it medium. The mac and cheese was just not for me but the fries were good. At this point I should have sent it back but we had all we could take and ate what we could and left. I want to also point out I had to ask for a receipt before we left and paid $10 for our 5 onion rings which again we’re supposed to be half off from the happy hour. I might also add going to the men’s restroom there were paper towels ontop of the dispenser and no soap in the dispenser just a small bottle of almost out soap on the counter.
I hate to complain really as I never like to make bad reviews but I feel other should know this before coming as this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had, and usually I like to cut people some slack as I manage a restaurant and worked in one since I was a kid but this was so bad I needed to spread awareness.

I have never eaten in but it gives a very peaceful and clean environment. I look forward to taking advantage and dining in soon.

This was my 4th (i think) Take out visit.
Always a pleasure! 🙂

Our server was great, very nice and did a great job at explaining the menu. My kids loved the shrimp Alfredo, steak was very juicy and the Mac and cheese had great flavor! Over all great experience and I will be coming back to try the brunch they have daily.

Very cute setup and super sweet server. The ambiance was superb. The burger and steak were excellent. The only issue we had was cold potatoes and scallops that weren’t cooked well. All in all, we loved it and would most definitely come back.

My husband and I just had dinner here and it was such a lovely evening. We enjoyed the music and the pretty Christmas tree they have by the window. The waitress was so kind and sweet to us, got refills before we could even notice we needed them She recommended the special which I see now why the say best burger in town, the meat is well seasoned, the ingredients altogether is just perfect. Will definitely be back to try brunch.

We enjoyed our visit. The interior is nice looking, clean and comfortable. The quality of our food was very good, presented well and tasted great. We had onion rings for starter, six rings, priced too high. Server brought toasted bread slices and warm butter, very nice. The burger was delicious. The TBone was thinner than expected but well seasoned and cooked. The grilled veggies and roasted red potatoes were excellent. We were disappointed no local craft beers were offered. The wait staff (we saw 3 working) were moving quickly and seemed attentive to customers. I look forward to visit again and try more items on the menu.

My BF absolutley loves steak. He wanted a T-bone, and we decided to order from this restaurant. It was very good! It could have been cooked better. Was done through, we ordered medium rare. However, the mashed potatoes and broccoli were wonderful. The chicken soup was fantastic. All of the flavors were good, and everything tasted home cooked.

Our server was very nice but had to be asked several times for the same things, including water refills. Their happy hour only includes very limited items but they aren’t specified on the menu. My sangria had no fruit in it and tasted like a syrupy Capri Sun. My salmon was very dry and came with a tiny drizzle of sauce. Two of us asked for a little extra sauce and were charged $1 each for it (which we weren’t told and seems crazy considering the prices of the entrees). The salmon was overly salted but the roasted potatoes were barely seasoned and the steamed broccoli had no seasoning at all. The crepes were chewy and tough. This was just not a $50 meal. I really wanted this to be a good experience – the Eastside needs more local restaurants. Unfortunately I can’t imagine returning or recommending it to others.
Edited to add: I was foolish enough to give them another try and ordered takeout. They had no record of my order when I arrived, even tho I had ordered thru their website and had my receipt. But the biggest insult was charging me $7 for 5 (FIVE) stalks of over-steamed, unseasoned asparagus. Insane. Never, NEVER again.
