It’s a tiny and intimate restaurant with limited supplies. Their poke of the day sold out within ten minutes of opening, so I recommend going early.

My poke bowl was fresh and balanced and very healthy. The rice was cooked nicely, maintaining its structural integrity without becoming sticky. And I loved the mango mixed in with the ahi; I was just commenting how too few places use fresh fruit in their poke mix, and Satori must’ve subconsciously heard my pleas.

We enjoyed a plate of poke at lunch, it was perfectly fresh, lots of flavor and overall would have this for lunch any day. The galden has a nice laid back vibe and plenty of umbrellas in case it’s too hot or direct sun.

The atmosphere was enchanting. The owner was welcoming and polite.
I never had hand rolls before. I thought they were all adventurous. I loved the addition of the nuts. Smoked Marlin was superb.
We loved salty miso soup. The only thing that I didn’t like was the cucumber salad. There were very few cucumbers on the bed of wilted, yellowing greens.
We loved lemon rose chocolate truffles and Gingerade.
I hope to come again when I am visiting Maui.

Great serving sizes! Some of the toppings and mushrooms had a very weird texture.

Overly expensive and not the greatest quality.
I got their special dragon roll. It was fishy; the ahi was not fresh at all. 25$ for nothing (see photos attached). Also 15$ for a tiny ramen??? The flavor was not the greatest either.

Sushi bowl was delicious, (fresh fish!) definitely worth the price. But don’t even get me started on the salad side… 5$ for a piece of lettuce???

We spent overall 90$ for 50% rice, 40% plants, and 10% fish (split among 3 people).

Very beautiful food and I loved the inclusion of herbs/plants but the prices are ridiculous for the portion size. This is barely enough to feed a toddler. Also I feel bad for the chef because he is also taking orders AND cooking. I can only imagine how stressful that gets during peak hours.

We’d been eating our way through Maui all week and we came here on a whim because the place we were originally going to have lunch wasn’t taking walk-ins. For me (I can’t speak for the rest of my family), this was the best meal I had during our entire trip. We all had different things and opted to share. The fish was great. You can’t go wrong with any of the handrolls or poke bowls if you’re into seafood; I recommend the fresh Marlin. However, the thing that stood out for me was, oddly, the Ramen bowl. My son, is a finicky eater. He’s in that “no veggies” phase so when the soup came, we had to walk back up and request a kids’ noodles and broth; which left the original Ramen bowl for the rest of the family to share! I loved it and ended up eating most of it! Next time we’re on Maui, I’ll be ordering the Ramen along with my handrolls!

The house bowl has three fish, and a ton of locally sourced greens with just enough rice, perfectly seasoned without dousing it with overly sweet sushi vinegar…. In short, heaven in a bowl

I got the roots on fire and the special which was a vegan roll with hamakua mushrooms. So tasty!
