These people are morally disgusting, will not go again. The Burger king and Chinese place across the street have a much nicer staff. Though its not a competition if it was they would blow this place out of the park let alone this solar system.
Scanned the coupon, the coupon went away, I saw my total go down.
Then some guy comes up, starts throwing a fit about the coupon.. not sure what he did.. printed out this long receipt, put my order in again and my total went back up.
He said I could only use the coupons online.
I told him that the app is telling me to scan the coupon to in store..
Then he changed his story and said that his store only excepts physical coupons.
After he started raising his voice I told him to keep the food and I left..
I will not return..
I hate this subway.. my wife likes subway, so we go to this one because it’s close to our house.
They always slop the food together, have horrible attitudes, and not one person speaks clear English.
Will not return to this location.
According to their own website: “When you are ready to pay, select the ‘Show Card’ button in the App. It will give you a QR code to scan at the register.”
I did as directed, and they insisted that I could only “use $2 off”, which they didn’t even apply to my transaction. I had well over the total amount remaining in gift cards, and have used the QR code/egift cards without issue at other locations. Better off visiting the other Subways around town. The phone number won’t accept voicemails, and no one picks up — and no attempts to resolve this.
In the mail…15 min. after ordering I arrived at the Eastwood location subway and there was my sub, ready and waiting (as usual) for me to pick-up..I haven’t had to wait for a pick-up at this location yet, kudos to the sandwich artists that are employed there! If your like me and like subway sandwiches, you can’t go wrong visiting this location!
Update: using the app is only good for ordering your Subs in advance, as the rewards “curve” is quite high, meaning it takes forever to earn free food..and prices for an average sub “favorite” like a “spicy italian” or a BMT, for instance, will now cost you AT LEAST $10.49 for a footlong..In closing, I have to say: Sorry subway, 4 stars for now..(down 1 from my original review)
