The food is delicious! We have ordered from this place twice and it was tasty both times. I usually have trouble with bbq because the sides are always a disappointment – but DBA does them right. The sweet potato tots are so good and are not greasy. Same can be said of the French fries. The cream corn has a kick to it and is made with corn that is grilled first. The ribs are a must. My boyfriend had the brisket and pulled pork but I did not taste those because I was too focused on my own plate. Maybe next time!

I had DBA cater a cookout at my house recently, and…it was amazing.
First off I asked for them to deliver to my home by 5:30 on Saturday night. And I live in Midtown.
The delivery woman showed up at 5:28.
Getting into my part of town on a Saturday at that time is extremely impressive.
Perfect timing. And gratefully appreciated by my guests.
They ate everything..
The chicken wings were completely devoured, and (for whatever reason) I did not want coleslaw and I told the manager no thank you.
He said trust me, you’re gonna want some… and some buns for sliders.
By the end of the night guests were scraping the tin to get the last bite of coleslaw.
And the buns were eaten like popcorn.
Gone.. and the macaroni and cheese was just absolutely murdered. There was nothing left.
The chicken, brisket and smoked turkey… I think I may have had one serving (combined) for one person left – and I ordered for 40.
Everything was fantastic! Thank you.

This was my husband and I’s first time visiting DBA Barbecue, and we were pleasantly surprised! I’m usually hesitant about barbecue spots because they tend to be overpriced and lacking in flavor—especially in Atlanta—but this place proved me wrong.
We ordered the pulled pork and asked for a recommendation, and the woman at the counter suggested the sweet barbecue wings—and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the highlight of our meal. We also got the Brunswick stew and mac & cheese, both of which were delicious and well-seasoned.
Service was fast—our food came out within minutes, and there was no wait at all. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations.

Matt with DBA was great to work with for our 150 person event. The online catering portal is super helpful for invoice review and payment. The food and service were excellent. We had pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, Mac and cheese, salad, and of course banana pudding. They even boxed up the leftovers. The guests absolutely loved i. I also quoted two other BBQ restaurants for the event and DBA was the most affordable!

Atlanta has solid BBQ options, but they all kind of blend together in your head. I tried the spicy Carolina pulled pork sandwich with collard greens.
When I say this is the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in years, I mean it. Really, I think they’re one of the few with toasted sesame seed buns and that makes a world of difference in flavor and bite in a sandwich.
The collard greens are also unbelievably good. I’ve done 100 restaurants so far this year, and this is one of the few I’d revisit, maybe along with Mamak.
