Food was incredible and so was the service. My only gripe would be that the appetizers came out only 2 minutes before the meal. Other than that , had a great experience. The filet was so nice and tender. The fish was light and flaky. The mushroom soup was delicious, almost as good as mine

Since moving to Indy in December it took some time but I found this place and go often. I’ve had the majority of the menu items with each being very good to excellent. The shrimp & grits were not to my linking but I’ve had some of the best the Carolina’s has to offer. The tenderloin sandwich smelled and tasted like fish but it was fish fry day.

I would recommend AJ’s to anyone wanting good food and service. They get busy but there is plenty staff to handle the load.

First time I have been to AJ’s and I went with the wife and Mother in Law. Atmosphere was well lit and music was at good volume. I was able to understand everyone at the table talking in normal voices.
Had the ribeye with mash and street corn. Ribeye was thick and cooked on point, mash was creamy and light and street corn had the right amount of spice. Ate all including most the fat. That tarragon butter made it sensational.
Wife had the Chicken Fajitas and they were awesome. Guacamole was buttery and smooth with a hint of spice. The rice was absolutely the best rice we have had in a long time. Whoever cooked that knows what they are doing.
Mother in Law had the Baja Fish Tacos. The breading was not heavy and the sauce was on point. The Mother in Law was actually humming while she ate it was that good.
I really wanted to try the peach cobbler but after that thick ribeye I had no room for dessert. Will have to try next time.
Will definitely be coming back with more people and will let everyone I know about this place. It was a nice well rounded menu appeasing to our three different desires for the night. Next time I go I want to try the Brussel sprouts with roasted pork belly. That sounded awesome.

I had a Philly cheese steak sliders, and they were perfect! Gave them a 10. Delicious, just the right amount along with the onion rings. They were a 9!
Wife had Italian beef sandwich with the onion rings and she also loved it 10 and 10! I wanna go back and try some other food next time great place stop in.

AJs is great. Fun fact: the kitchen is shared with Amore, and if you haven’t tried Amore then you technically haven’t experience life yet. Do better. Try Amore & AJs.

Edit: it turns out everything I know is a lie, and they do not share a kitchen. I will not rely on my questionable memory for much longer, however; I still highly encourage all to go to AJs and Amore.

Loved the food! We started off with the massive pretzel and then we each had our meals. I ordered the Shrimp and cheesy grits. It was awesome. My son did the pasta and chicken. It was my first time there and was disappointed with service. Our waiter was a nice gentleman, but he seemed very distracted with the Pacer game. It took a long time to get to-go containers and check out. Will go again and hopefully it will be better.

Okay so now I’m kicking myself for never coming here before now. It’s definitely not just a bar but after the food I’ve had today I have to call it a restaurant.

My experience here was so good that I can’t ever call this bar food. I came for brunch on Saturday and had the eggs benedict and it was exceptional! Of course I had to stay and have some drinks and as I got closer to dinner time I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak sliders with fries. The sliders were really good but I have to admit the french fries were some of the best I have ever put in my dirty mouth.

Wonderful atmosphere and the staff is second turn on definitely stop in and give this a shot. There’s a meatloaf sandwich on the menu that’s on my hit list next.

This was our first time dining here. My father in-law and I ordered the fish and chips, my hubby had tenders w/ fries and my mother-in-law had the tuna melt which had a bit too much mayo. Overall the food was really good, the portion sizes are more than enough. Good service.

Great local pub and wonderful service which was top notch for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Looks like a great place to hang out on weekends for the locals and this upcoming St Patrick’s day. Thank you Cassie for a great lunch experience for our first time today with Mother in Law.
