My husband and I came here for lunch during happy hour and were so impressed! Our server Rihanna was incredibly kind, sweet, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She made the experience very comfortable for us first timers. The whole vibe of the restaurant is so easy going and inclusive. Their decorations and color scheme are such a vibe. When our food came out the tacos were much bigger than I expected and very filling. My husband had arepas for the first time here and he loved them! Will be coming back again soon. New favorite lunch spot

Casual atmosphere, clean and tidy. Excellent food. Drinks were good and quick. Clean bathrooms!
Our waitress had a beautiful smile and was attentive, im sorry i didn’t catch her name. We felt welcomed.
It was a slow time of day and I noticed staff keeping busy in the back of the restaurant. No one sitting around looking at their phone or goofing off.
Everyone had something to do and they all smiled while they did it.
The potions are nice. I highly recommend saving room for Flan. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had! Thank you for a great meal.

We never get appetizers, drinks or dessert but we got all 3 here and it was so worth it. Going during happy hour is great! Food was all so flavorful and cooked to perfection. We practically licked our plates clean.

We had a delicious dinner at La Cocinita! They have a bright and lively atmosphere and stellar service. We tried all of their veggie arepas and they were all delicious. I only was able to picture one because of how fast we ate them! My favorites were la llanera vegana and el todu pepiado. Would highly recommend for and I’ll be back!

Food came out quickly. The guacamole has just the right amount of lemon juice, the tofu taco and the brisket tacos were huge and super tasty. Even the chips had good seasoning. I’ll try the Arepas next. Definitely will be back! 10/10. Good job!

Lovely arepas (much bigger than normal ones!) and great, friendly service. Their yucca fries are excellent, well fried and with a smooth texture. The horchata gets an A+ from one in our party who has high standards for the drink. Their flan is quite good too! Stop by Creole Creamery after for a delicious ice cream to finish!

Awesome new addition to the Prytania st uptown corridor! I used to frequent the food truck all the time so very happy they’ve landed a brick and mortar. Easy ordering at the bar. Fresh ingredients and lots of variety! The staff is friendly too.
