Cute breakfast and lunch spot off the beaten path. Great service and pleasant surroundings and good food at reasonable prices. They make good coffee too! I had the bacon and egg breakfast and the bacon was nice thick cut not the thin pitiful stuff you usually get and 4 slices too. Recommended.

3.8/5 for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was pretty dry but at least it tasted fresh. Waffles were decent as well. The service was really good though.

Let me tell you guys this, this place is great. Food, service, and atmosphere. Just great! I got the country-fried steak burrito and my wife got the chile verde omelet. Will most likely come again with the whole family. Thank you everything was awesome!

Had a cousins day with one of my favorite cousins and we found this place. As soon as we walked in the place is very nice and clean. The mural they have is so amazing showing the original businesses and restaurants(wish I could have that in my own home). I ordered the chicken and waffles combo(includes eggs, bacon, sausage, or ham) and wow it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the waffles that good crispy crunch but definitely soft. Tried the strawberry mimosa and that was sweet and delicious and the best mimosa I’ve ever had. The service was okay and could be a little better. All in all this was definitely an amazing breakfast spot.

I usually really enjoy your food, which is why this was disappointing. I ordered chicken and waffles through Grubhub, but the order arrived without syrup or butter. Because I don’t have syrup at home, the waffles were too dry to eat, so I wasn’t able to eat them at all. I also ordered a side of hash browns, which was missing.
I rely on delivery and had been up for four hours waiting so my sister and I could enjoy breakfast together. Her food was great, but I ended up disappointed. Forgetting syrup with waffles really impacts the entire meal even when you’re missing the side too, especially for customers who can’t leave home and rely on delivery. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration.

Mimosa has become one of our go-to restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The biggest challenge is which of the delicious dishes we want each time! Oink & Eggs is always solid (their bacon is divine!), and the prime rib melt is a winner any time of day. Our servers are always delightful and prompt (Fernanda was great today)! And, of course, the mimosas are delightful! Definitely recommend!

2nd time here. What a wonderful little breakfast, lunch spot. Had the fish & chips. Very light and tasty. Their side salad is very delicious and plenty of it. The Mimosa Club was outstanding and the Popcorn shrimp were also delicious. Next time I come it will be for breakfast.

Obliviously, the mimosas are their selling point. But I didn’t get those.
Instead, opted just to eat brunch – BNG Benedict . The eggs were cooked thoroughly (per my request), the potatoes were slightly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, and the gravy and biscuits were awesome. The biscuits were flakey, yet sturdy and soft at the same time. Gravy was a little thin for my liking, but very tasty. The portions are average size, but wanted to try pancakes (next time ) The food isn’t any special, but it’s good
Service was great, especially for how busy they were. I was sat almost as soon as I walked in and the staff was friendly and helpful. Order and received my food within 20 minutes.
Atmosphere is a mix of weekend vibes and has an interesting wall as a tribute to Bakersfield. Clean location. There’s seating inside and out.
Side note, it’s nice to be able to see the chef and his staff cookingvthe food. Kitchen looked nice and clean too.
Will definitely, as mentioned earlier, come back to eat here.

Seriously, great experience! Hubs & I rarely go out to eat without kids, so this was definitely an impromptu “date” day.
We decided to give Mimosa Cafe a try, and boy, were we happy we did.
Place is tucked away across from Dutch Bros on Calloway by Lengthwise. It’s a Decent size restaurant with booths, half booths & tables. Bathrooms are simple & kept clean.
Becca, our server was helpful, knowledgeable of the menu. She gave us tips on the menu’s favorites, which led my husband to choose the C.F.S Burrito.
This is a Chicken Fried Steak, scrambled eggs & roasted red potatoes wrapped in a tortilla and smothered with sausage gravy topped with chopped bacon. This this is MASSIVE.
I love Eggs Benedict & today I tried the Smoked Salmon Benedict, topped with capers (i nixed the red onions). The eggs were poached to perfection, and hollandaise sauce was light & creamy. I got the roasted red potatoes, which were amazing.
I, of course, got a mimosa flight. A flight gives you 3 options of their 10 options plus a special seasonal mimosa. I chose Mixed Berry Mimosa, Pina Colada Mimosa & the seasonal Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa.
Mixed Berry Mimos was light and basic Berry flavored garnished with a slice of strawberry & blueberries.
Pina Colada Mimosa was very true to a Pina Colada, rimmed with shredded coconut & garnished with a slice of pineapple.
Caramel Apple Cider Mimosa was my favorite of the 3. Tasted like Caramel Apple Cider, rimmed with a cinnamon sugar rim & garnished with a slice of green Apple.
Prices are not bad. Averaging like other local brunch restaurants so that was nice. I was pleased to see that they have a Mimosa Monday where it is bottomless classic mimosas for seated guest with a purchase of an entree, which would be perfect for brunch with the girls. Especially with their backdrop for possible photo ops. This is located on your way towards the restrooms towards the back of the restaurant.
Overall, I’m super happy we gave this place a try and definitely will be returning.

The atmosphere is so chic. I love the Bakersfield mural. It shows all the places I went to through the years as a Bakersfield native. The classic mimosa was superb. It’s fun to see all the choices they offer. Our waitress was helpful, funny, and friendly, Fernanda. The food is yummy too.
