A true hidden gem in Westchester. Lechona Truck elevates traditional Colombian comfort food to a refined experience. I tried their Tamachona—that glorious Tolima-style tamal with its golden “copete”—along with their lechona (served with rice) and a perfectly seasoned morcilla. Every bite was superb: flavorful, fresh, and authentic.
The place is immaculately clean, with an atmosphere that feels both vibrant and elegant. The service is impeccable—attentive without ever being intrusive. And the price-to-quality ratio is nothing short of outstanding; you feel you’re receiving far more than what you pay for.
Lechona Truck embodies that rare combination of tradition, quality, and grace. A place I’ll gladly return to—and recommend without hesitation.

I discovered Lechona Truck at the Fourth of July festival in Miami, and it was easily one of the highlights of the day. What caught my attention first wasn’t the food, it was the people. Friends and family were out front handing out fans and car air fresheners, and in that Miami heat, it was a welcome and thoughtful touch.
You could feel the heart and family pride behind the whole setup. I asked what they recommended, and they pointed me to their favorite: the Toma Chona. One bite and I was hooked—flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with love. You don’t get that kind of authenticity just anywhere.
This isn’t just a food truck, it’s a cultural experience and a family pouring their soul into what they do. Absolutely worth supporting. I’ll be hunting them down again next time I’m in town

We had lunch at Lechona Truck and absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding, by far the best lechona we’ve tried to date. Easy 10/10. On top of that, Esteban was exceptionally kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

$27 for the smallest plate of reheated, days-old burnt rice with pork, topped with a 2×4 slab of burned—not crispy—pork skin, plus empanadas with a mushy filling instead of meat and potatoes, and a bottle of water. The only decent thing was the water, and that’s because it was cold. Never again. Absolutely disgusting.

The problem wasn’t the $27 price it was that everything except the bottled water was outright disgusting. The rice tasted like it had been reheated days later and was burnt, the pork came with a thin 2×4 slab of burned (not crispy) skin, and the empanadas had a mushy filling instead of actual meat . I didn’t return the meal because it was a takeout order and I was already home, but honestly, I shouldn’t have had to.
What bothers me most is going to a place expecting quality like paying Graziano’s prices — and getting McDonald’s-level food. Never again.

Waste of money! Food is expensive and the portions too small. What you see on the menu is not what you get as the portions are very small. I ordered the plate “La Lechona” eager to eat the pork belly shown on the menu- what a huge disappointment I was expecting a nice size piece of pork belly and what I got was a tiny piece the size of my thumb. I ended up at McDonalds to satisfy my hunger. What a disgrace and embarrassment to Colombian cuisine. In addition, I posted my review on their page and they blocked me.

had the pleasure of trying the food from Lechona Truck, and it was absolutely incredible! The lechona was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and with just the right amount of crispy skin. You can tell they put a lot of care and passion into every dish they serve. The portions were generous, and the accompanying sides were just as delicious.
