Finally got to try this place! (I usually can only get over to this area after work or on weekends.) I had their Classic Pastrami and it was the best! The bread was toasty and especially tasty, and there was just the right amount of fillings. Staff was friendly and helpful, even on a busy day (I hadn’t known about their online ordering). Like many of the best places, it’s a tiny takeout-only spot. (So no rating on the atmosphere.) I was going to drive someplace with a view to consume it but – like when I get a baguette at their neighbor Raymond’s Sourdough Bakery – I ended up eating the whole thing right there in the parking lot. The only downside is that they’re not open on weekends. Next time I’m going to see if they can recreate the Italian deli ham and Swiss of my childhood…

I enjoy the local feel to it. The food is tasty and warm. I like places like this because you have to find it and then search inside. Keep it like this and have people come to you.

Been wanting to try this place for a while now, and finally got the chance to do it. Simple storefront on the side of Raymond’s bread shop. Walked in and ordered a hot pastrami, which turned out to be really good. The wait was short, but they do recommend ordering online in case they get busy.
Their french dip is also good, especially with the au jus, and their chili is nice and chunky.

Ok you need to stop here, the food is excellent. I tried the lobster crab sandwich for my first visit and can say it was delicious! I will be back and I will bring friends.
The crew is great, the place is not hard to find but Google maps and Waze may take you to Starlight Street and don’t do it , just stay on Spruce and they are right on the corner.
Eat here and you will be happy!

Over 12 years I’ve probably spent 1,000’s here and yet never thought about reviewing this place until just now. Solid lunch spot if you want Quality ingredients and fresh Everything! No longer a cheap place for lunch it then—where is? No regrets and get the French dip if available. Worth the wait if there is one!

Definitely my favorite go to place for work lunches. Order online for super simple ordering/checkout. Good-sized delicous subs with the perfect bread.

Absolutely killer little joint; the owner is super charismatic & slings out a wide variety of sammies. Italian sub always rips and they make a veggie sandwich that doesn’t suck like most other places.
Prices are super reasonable and they even have a separate menu for stuff they can make quickly if you’re on lunch break & in a rush.

This place was recommended to me. The sandwiches are fantastic and their chili is just as good! I’ve been there three times now and will definitely go back the next time that I’m in the area.

Italian Sub is my go to! I wish I took photos but I usually devour half as I drive home. The bread, the boars head meat and melty cheese *chef’s kiss* definitely give this place a try.

This place is really tiny you would never think there is a sandwich shop here. But they have the best sandwiches I’ve tasted in years. Yous guys have to go check this place out in South City.
