I’ve tried the pupusa and Atol de Elote here, both were excellent. The pupusa is flavorful and satisfying, and the Atol de Elote is the perfect sweet and creamy pairing. It’s a nice little spot to stop by once in a while when you’re craving something hearty and authentic.

The lady who took my order was very nice and professional.
It was my first time there, she advised that I try the pupseria brilla( i guess this is what it’s called) and it was good a big portion for a very good price.
Recommended would go back to try different dishes.

WOULDN’T RECOMMEND!!! 0 stars if I could. Just left with cold food because the cashier and staff let the food sit and then brought the food to me later. I was sitting in the restaurant and saw the food but wasn’t aware of it was mine since several other people were waiting for theirs. When I asked for it to be warmed up, another plate made, or a refund the cashier acted like she didn’t understand me and went to make food for others.

You walk in and get greeted by a fresh scent of food from El Salvador.
The food is made to order and hot! There is plenty of seating for families and larger parties.
Great tunes and an open environment. Air flows throughout, revisiting those delightful fragrances.

I am literally blown away, not only is the restaurant super clean and has an amazing staff and owner, the pupusas we’re on point! What a gem of a spot, definitely my new favorite place to get ya is, pupusas and I’ll try anything off their menu. The owner was super polite and courteous, and his quality control can be seen everywhere. He pays attention to details and it shows. Truly one of the very best pupusas I have had in a long time. Don’t let the location (it’s in Manassas mall) fool you, this place is the real deal. Support local, go and see them, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this hidden gem to any and everyone. If I could give 10 stars I would. Absolutely love this spot.

*Edit: response to owner.* To clarify on some points you brought up, you obviously have the wrong person because I don’t have an accent (which there’s nothing wrong with having one), additionally I did not eat the chicken in the restaurant or its vicinity for your false claim that you caught me on security camera enjoying it. I shared my experience how it was. I’m VERY familiar with Salvadoran food and expected better. Had you taken a professional approach in your responses, I would have given the benefit of the doubt and removed this review.
Stay away from the whole chicken meal! The chicken appeared reheated multiple times because it was dry and definitely old. We ordered fries and got a small portion of low quality frozen fries, most pieces were small and improperly fried. And it was also overpriced. A $5 Costco chicken is way better than their $30 chicken meal. Although we were hungry, we ended up throwing away most of it (see image below).
Of note: we did bring our concerns to staff on duty, but they did not understand.

The pupusas are nothing to be wow about i order queso con chicharon and it was more masa then anything else the lump of queso and chicharon were in the middle of the pupusa…. and the papa locas, lacked alot. See pictures for it.

Terrible food, cashier is incredibly rude, way overpriced. $10 for a single plantain with a tiny cup of crema. Disgusting attitude too. Didn’t give us a whole order and tried to argue with us. Nasty. Wasted $50.

I went to multiple places in search of good food and found this gem in the mall. The beef burrito I ordered was truly amazing and different from burritos from franchises like Moses. This burrito was true comfort food warm,cheesy, flavored goodness and I normally don’t eat even half of a burrito because I don’t have a big appetite but I ended up finishing these. On top of that I ordered tortilla chips and soda and the lady forgot to charge it so she gave it for free. I don’t know her name but the lady with the tattoo was truly amazing . My mom also came and ordered with me and thought the food was truly delicious and inexpensive. Would 100% recommend and looking forward to cooking again.
