We ordered 50 chicken tenders, a dozen blueberry donuts, and a large mac and cheese for a gathering at our church, and every single item was a hit. The chicken tenders were hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. The mac and cheese was creamy, comforting, and right amout of salt. Perfect for kids! And the blueberry donuts? Soft, warm, and just the right amount of sweet, which were loved by everyone. Everything was ready on time, which made feeding a large group easy and stress-free. We’ll definitely be ordering again. We recently had Connie’s Chicken cater an event for us, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Ms. Jill, the manager, was extremely kind and professional throughout the entire process. She made everything easy to coordinate and was so pleasant to work with.
The food arrived right on time, and everything was warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell they care about the quality of their food and their service. On top of that, the team was incredibly sweet and accommodating.

You know how during the great migration and during the Jim Crow era, black people had to travel with baskets of fried chicken and loaves of bread because there was no place to stop for food? Connie’s chicken is how I imagine that fried chicken would taste. Seasoned and fried with love and best wishes for safe travels.

We have tried the drive thru now for the fourth time over the past three months. When the business is always so short staffed that you have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for your food to be prepared, every time you go, there is an issue. We’re talking twenty to thirty minutes and not at a peak dining time. There weren’t that many customers, just not enough staff and each time the employees were apologizing that they were short handed. There were only two working the last time we were there. The food was really good twice, once everything and I mean the chicken, green beans, gravy, potatoes, slaw, all of it was so salty we threw away all our meals. The other time it was not warm by the time we got it but it was really flavorful and good crispy chicken. We loved the blueberry donuts.
Sure, it’s a little difficult to access CONNIE’S and yes, they’ve got serious problems with management/staff shortage. But if they can straighten that mess out, it’s worth tackling traffic to eat their crispy chicken and cake donuts.
I’m going to wait a month and try one more time.

If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, this is it. The $5 tender meal is a total winner, coming with 3 tenders, a side, and a roll. The chicken is seasoned perfectly and the mac and cheese tastes soo good and the buttery roll really ties it all together. Great food, better prices, and super friendly staff! Jill and Shell were absolute sweethearts!! If everyone in the customer service industry were like them, I’d probably never have a complaint again lol. Thank you so much for y’all’s hospitality and the yummy food!

Just not my cup of tea. The establishment is really clean, and the food was hot. I just didn’t care for the taste. The chicken tenders were harder and drier than other competition. The Connie’s sauce tastes like a regular fry sauce. Rolls were soft. The blueberry donut is wetter and softer than expected with a more artificial taste. I do like that they use beef tallow to fry since I can’t have nut/seed oil, but the flavor is just not there otherwise.

First impression-super clean and the most friendliest staff of hardworking women you will ever meet. Customer service was a 10/10. Ask for Mrs. Jill she’ll take great care of you. Chicken was crispy and not dry. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was very good. Fries were seasoned and Connie’s sauce was very good as well. Got a blueberry donut that melts in your mouth. Definitely give this place a try.

Customer service was head and shoulders above any other fast food restaurant I’ve been to. The spicy chicken tenders were seasoned great and weren’t dry. The roll might’ve been the best part of the meal. The mashed potatoes weren’t too slimy or too clumpy. Mrs. Jill took care of my roommate and I and brought us some complimentary blueberry donuts. Awesome experience definitely check them out.
