Went here twice over while in town. Such great food- had the whitefish and prime rib. Both were delicious and the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly! Would come back anytime I’m in the area.

This place is a true UP gem! There are no frills or special service, just great food! The steaks we had (filet and prime rib) were both fantastic. It is a smaller restaurant and run by family, so they can’t accommodate a lot of people. Very happy with this place! The prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food they serve.

We stopped after attending the Gogebic County Fair tonight and we’re very happy with what we found. The atmosphere was very relaxing and comfortable. The staff was very laid back and did a great job keeping the room covered. It was a small staff but experienced. The food was the best we had on our trip to Ironwood. We were both very pleased with our steaks and the sides were very tasty as well. The Whiskey Old Fashioned that I had was one of the best I’ve had in awhile. If you’re in a hurry pass by because that’s not how they operate here. It’s worth the time spent to relax and enjoy what they do.

I made reservations on line at 3 they were closed until four for 7:30pm on a Saturday. Sept 27. We were road tripping for fall colors on our anniversary. We arrived about 7:15 were told that the kitchen was closed for a family function. Spent an hour waiting for seating somewhere else the app said they would call if the reservation time didn’t work. They never called.

Sit down to eat, almost 2 hours later we are paying. Prime rib was cut with the grain, so tough to cut. Prime rib was tender and good otherwise. Filet was fine, new york stip was fine. It just took forever. Saw the bartender pick his nose, and reached into the cherries for a drink – no hand wash berween the nose and the cherry jar.

Super disappointing visit to this restaurant. Only 3 other tables were full and it took nearly an hour from the time we sat down to finally get our food. The garlic bread that came with my ravioli was so tough I literally could not bite through it. My bf ordered prime rib and ask for medium but when it was delivered, the bartender said “best we can do is medium rare because it’s the end of the night.” Pretty bad service when you’re paying $60 for a meal for two. I would not return and certainly not recommend it to others.

Steak special on Saturday night was great. Had porterhouse with mushrooms and melted blue cheese. Wanted to try prime rib but was sold out.

The nugget turned us away so I called this place. The kitchen closed in thirty minutes and the bartender told us to come in still. Very accommodating.

The atmosphere is very cozy and I personally loved the ambiance. We were seated by a fireplace and the service was great. The food did take a little time but for the most part was great.

If you’re in a hurry, don’t go here. If you want to enjoy the company you’re with and be treated with kindness and be given great service. This is your spot.

Only complaint, ditch the frozen veggies.

Was with family skiing in the area and went here for dinner. Do not eat here if you are in a hurry. We waited about an hr for our food. Everything (prime rib, steaks, ravioli), was excellent. Small place and only 5 tables. Staff was friendly. I would eat here again.
