For some reason, I always find us racing to get here before it closes! It’s a must stop on every trip to Williamsburg. Doesn’t matter the temperature outside, rain, or shine, we are stopping.

Our son absolutely loves the snow cones (snowballs) here. The grape snoball is his favorite, but their flavors are extensive. When I used to get them, cherry or root beer were my favorites. However, now I personally love the soft serve with sprinkles. Great flavor and great taste.

Maybe it’s a me thing, but I always have to put this location in Waze. It comes up quickly on you and you don’t want to drive by it or slam on your brakes. Just know that is across from the Carrabba’s. Even if the place is busy, there is plenty of parking, and they do an amazing job of serving people quickly and getting them through the line.

So stop on by and get a treat. Better yet, even grab a T-shirt!

Every time we visit Williamsburg, a trip to Sno-To-Go is a must for us. Their stuffed shaved ice snoballs are a treat we eagerly anticipate, and with 67 shaved ice flavors and 3 specialty flavors, the variety is simply amazing. It’s always fun to try new combinations and find new favorites.

This visit, my husband decided to try a strawberry milkshake, and it did not disappoint. In addition to their incredible shaved ice options, Sno-To-Go also offers sundaes, snowstorms, banana splits, ice cream sandwiches, soft serve ice cream, and ice cream floats. The extensive menu ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The quality and variety of their treats never fail to impress us. Sno-To-Go continues to be a highlight of our trips, and we can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for delicious, refreshing treats in Williamsburg. It’s become a cherished tradition for us, and we always leave satisfied and looking forward to our next visit.

Edit: I want to add that the owners quick response and hope to make it right was much appreciated and awesome! Faith in my favorite dessert place is restored

I just want to start this by saying, I have been coming to sno to go for yearsssss. I love it. Come almost every weekend and never have problems. Recently, there has been a change in the attitude and quality of what you are paying for here. My most recent experience tonight, has honestly put a bad taste in my mouth about Sno to go and it makes me sad. I order a med double stuff, get all the way home to NO flavor on the icee after the very top, no ice cream in the middle, completely not right. So no biggie, drive all the way back and ask for a remake. Yes, it was 8:55 and they were closing, but I paid $9.08 for essentially unflavored shaved ice. Immediately when I get to the window I see the cashier who rang me up looking annoyed, and I explained my situation and just asked for a new one. there are employees laughing about it and not taking it seriously, then I see the girl purposely make it completely OVER flavored. I’m talking over flowing soup, syrup all over the cup dripping on the counter. They were literally laughing about it as they were handing it to me. I get it, your kids only there for a paycheck, but I’m spending almost $10 for a nostalgic treat and simply just want it made correctly, the first time, after already waiting 20 minutes, driving 10 minutes back home, then 10 minutes back for a remake. I told them I’m not taking that I just want my $9.08 back. Sno-to-Go, do better.

Updating our review: we came 3 times over the course of our vacation. Management did make it right from my previous review. The subsequent snowball had enough syrup. Some of our order was wrong two of the times we came, but we ate them as they came and still enjoyed. Unique and local, I would recommend.

Good flavored syrups, but don’t use enough. My sno cone was straight ice for the top 2/3 – asked for more syrup, and then it was still completely lacking syrup on the bottom 1/3 (see pic)

If you feel adventurous, get the flavor of the week (you get an extra 10% off). The flavor combos are endless, and always on point! Plus you can get a loyalty card and stamps, so when you come back, you might get a cup on the house (no holding on the size either). They aren’t open Sundays, or the colder months, so make sure to avoid those times. Highly recomend to stop by if coming thru, and keep coming if you live close enough!

Could not be more disappointed…My family and I come here every year – so excited to get our shaved ice- and this is our first night in town. I had asked for lids – expecting a usual dome lid- and these were the lids we were given. When asking the girl if they no longer carry the dome lids, she said “Yes, we do.”That being, it is evident that the snoballs are missing the top portion of what they should be. We had also ordered a stuffed snoball, and when we got to the car we realized there was no ice cream in it. When we went back to the counter, the same worker told us she would “fix it”. To our disappointment when we arrived home, this was our end result. We spent over $40 on this order, and we are just extremely disappointed and sad.

UPDATE: The owner reached out personally to rectify our experience. My family and I are very grateful for the amazing customer service provided to us!

Loved it. SO Many flavor choices and combos. Both were very good. Ice is nicely crushed and holds the flavor (flavor doesn’t sink to the bottom, even if you and up getting so much you put it in the hotel “freezer” overnight. It was still a great slushy in the morning)

THE BEST! The stuffed snoball is absolutely fabulous! I love all of the flavor options! The lines are always long, but go by quickly and worth it! Parking is tight, but manageable. Love coming here for sweet treats! Can’t wait to try more flavors!

I had a fantabulous time at snow to go. We stopped here on our way back to Richmond and was delighted by the short wait time and delicious snow cones. I got the bahama mamma and I would definitely get it again if I was passing through the area.
