I was welcomed as soon as entering the shop. Everyone was so kind and they make you feel like home. Their comics were well organized and easy to view. I had gotten Donald Duck comics for my son. At the end I tried their banana cream latte, seriously it’s to die for.

Really cool and comfy spot, popped in and tried their banana cream matcha which was soooooooooo delicious. While i was waiting, grabbed a few impulse comics from their $2 shelves and some pokemon cards. Fun local place, will come back to try more of their menu for sure. All the employees were very kind and welcoming.

Plant City Comic Cafe is an oasis of a place in Plant City. The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate. The owners are warm and helpful. The back issue comic selection is extensive. The food is wonderful and varied. As a plant-based eater I found a few nice options on their menu. I highly recommend Plant City Comic Cafe if you are a comic head or just looking for some good eats (or both).

Great plant city spot. It’s clear the owners love everything they sell we got offers to pull up other editions of comics we had interest in, they walked us through making our own ramen and their tables were clean and big enough for us to game on (two player) when the weather’s cooler they also have adorable outdoor seating. It was so comfortable/inviting that we didn’t even realize we stayed over a bit they didn’t make us feel bad about it at all. I’m sure I’ll drop in again. Definitely recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience visiting this comic book café in Plant City with my girls and myself. From the moment we walked in, the owner and his daughter were incredibly kind, and the entire staff was welcoming and helpful, especially appreciated when you’re navigating a space with littles in tow.
We were able to grab a quick bite to enjoy on the go and then spend time exploring the comic books together as a family. With kids ranging from toddler to early teen, it can be a challenge to find places that truly work for everyone, but this was one of those rare spots that felt inclusive, calm, and genuinely enjoyable.
I loved being able to run around with my younger ones while also using the comics as a learning and bonding experience. When we got home we sat together, read through stories, and were so excited to discover that they even carry Disney magazines, such a fun and thoughtful touch for families.
It’s clear this is a family-run business built with heart, and we are so grateful to have places like this in our community. We can’t wait to come back to explore more, and we wish this lovely family business continued success, luck, and many blessings.
Highly recommend for families, comic lovers, and anyone looking for a welcoming local spot.

After seeing PC3 featured on News Channel 28 recently, I made the 1hr., 20min. drive there from Clearwater and was not sorry! I’m not a comic book enthusiast but I did have a fair stack of vintage comics that I wanted to donate to their cause, which I did. (I was tired of them taking up space in a drawer!) The owners, Michelle & Sherrick, were very friendly & easy to talk to & made me feel “at home”. Sherrick spent plenty of time showing me the comic book section of their store & explained things about comic book collecting that I didn’t know about. Very interesting. Sherrick is well informed. I enjoyed one of their great burger choices & awesome fries with a topping on them that had a great “bite” to it. I enjoy a little “heat” in my food! Their store/cafe is neat & clean with a very attractive decor, retaining many of the original elements of the early 1900s building. These people are in my prayers for abundant success.

Plant City Comic Cafe is absolutely worth every minute. The owner is extremely informative and has an incredible amount of patience, always willing to help and share knowledge. The shop is very clean and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to spend time. As someone who loves comics and books and enjoys exploring many different stores, I can confidently say this is by far one of the best I have ever visited. I will definitely be returning every chance I get, especially knowing that they ALWAYS have a discount.

Plant City Comic Cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town! Their Starfire Peach Latte (I know it sounds crazy… Peach? Coffee…? TRUST ME) is hands down my go-to drink—sweet, refreshing, and unique, just like the cafe itself. I also love browsing their awesome selection of comics, which makes every visit feel like an adventure.
Another highlight is the “make it yourself” Ramen station—such a fun and delicious idea that really sets them apart from other cafes. And I can’t forget to mention the baristas, Jeff and Sharon. They’re always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely make the place feel like home.
If you’re looking for a spot with great vibes, tasty drinks, and plenty of personality, Plant City Comic Cafe is a must-visit!
