Buncombe Creek is a very well-hidden cove on Texoma. Our neighbors had told us about the place so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. The outdoor eating area has great atmosphere, but the food is what made the experience for me. I opted for the blackened catfish with green beans and okra. The fish was awesome but the green beans were amazing. I will be asking for a double order next trip. The only caution is the OK taxes!! We are used to the TX side of the lake so very shocked to see $10 added to our bill in beverage tax. Would highly recommend for the food and dining experience but you may want to order ice tea or water to drink.

Definitely local favorite restaurant. Friendly staff, clean place, reasonable price. Food is good other than the chicken fried chicken is tough for me. Lat & long coordinations on the wall show the correct location of this restaurant. The restroom sign puzzled me for a second. Large outdoor patio eating area. One thing I want to remind all is to look at the bill charged. I will definitely recommend it all.

Excellent service and inviting atmosphere. A full bar and music outside on the patio. The menu was a little limited, but what we ordered was delicious. We were happy to see that they served breakfast all day long. Our only disappointment was the very uncomfortable small metal chairs. We chose to eat indoors where they did have a few areas with booth seating which was a lot more comfortable. Being new to the area, we were a little surprised when we received our bill that the combined taxes were over 11% of our bill, which I think is a little high for the area. We noticed that the liquor tax was the big reason around 13%. I attached the receipt for review. Overall it was enjoyable and the food was good.

Not bad at all! They had karaoke and a full bar. The food was very good. There were six of us, we had the ranch cheese curds for the appetizers, chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans, chicken fried steak, the meatloaf special with corn and taters, and I had the cheese burger with fries. They are going to close for a couple off weeks, but reopen January 8th, and a new menu. The GM was very sweet, I wish them all the success!!

From the moment we pulled up, the atmosphere felt welcoming. Half cars, half side-by-sides in the parking lot – great small community feeling. The hostess greeted us with a smile and had us seated within seconds. Our server, Garrett, gave us appetizer suggestions, dinner suggestions and both were great! Garrett’s attentiveness was what you would receive at a high-end steakhouse. When leaving, the hostess, again, left us with a smile and kind words. My wife and I had a flawless experience! We will be repeat customers for sure.

Limited menu due to their kitchen being remodeled, not a problem at all, they let us know up front about that. Got sat and 15 minutes later we are finally helped, and then watched our waitress immediately help every other table she got. $23 for a prime rib sandwich and a bag of chips, but there are no details about the sandwich and it came out piled with onions and mushrooms. The sandwich was small and the prime rib just tasted like a mushroom.
Atmosphere is great, just not enough to make it worth it to go back.

Excellent restaurant! Great quality food & service. I had the southwestern eggrolls blackened catfish, corn and mashed potatoes, all were excellent. SW egg rolls are Good with ranch dressing as a dipping sauce for the SW egg rolls, but the queso is great also. Conveniently located right off of Lake Texoma. Definitely a place worth stopping at any time. Have a large outdoor patio as well.
Just an FYI, they don’t serve food between breakfast and lunch service on weekdays. Wish that wasn’t the case.

A much needed venue on the Oklahoma side of Lake Texoma. The absolute BEST Ribeye steak that I have had at a restaurant EVER! My wife had the Twisted Chicken, it was out of this world as well!
Atmosphere was great, Lake view and sunset were beautiful. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs (we needed nothing, they were on point!).
10 stars if possible and I am hard to please!!
