Very comfortable with pleasant memorabilia. A very pleasant setting with plenty of conversational items to reminisce while having a very wide array of excellent menu items. I opted for the Halibut and Chip dinner ..Excellent! As a lifelong visitor to the World Famous Dock Lunch. The excitement never tires .So many lifelong memories visits to the town Dock of Penetang. A definite quote from the local Grocery store..”Hometown Proud “.From the old IGA now Foodland Visit here ..You certainly will be happy you took the time to do so.Family recommended

Overall nostalgic from when I was a kid. We were in the area and I wanted to take my spouse there as I spend many summers in Midland area growing up.
We got fish & “chips” and an ice cream after. The fish is actually really good!! I would order just fish next time (I don’t love fish generally) but I would get this again.
The chips were super disappointing. They were essentially undercooked McDonalds fries and they barely give you any, for 24$.
The garlic bread was good but would eliminate that for real Chips (thick cut fries). Not enough tartar sauce either. 1 small container to split between 2 pieces of fish. The coleslaw was delicious as well as the pickle!
They had lots of seating you could sit inside or outside. They even had a dog patio, which was really nice. Tables were clean and some were in the shade some in the sun.
The ice cream was ok, had some freezer burn to it / ice chunks. I got 2 flavours and the top scoop of the second flavour was about a tablespoon big.
Overall I will go back to this place for just the fish and pickles.
Also they did have local food inside like butter tarts which I like seeing that! I will have to go back and try them next time!! They looked delicious!!

In one word DISAPPOINTING ! Way too expensive for the quality. No condiments available in the dining areas so you have to carry your meal back to the order area. After ordering and receiving meal we have to walk through the parking lot to get to the dining area. The double arch restaurant is way better.

Also when we went, my husband ordered a burger and it doesn’t come with fries.. you have to order fries separately and they are expensive also. When you are a family of 5, this makes going out, almost impossible.

Stumbled upon this great spot. Friendly staff, quick service, and food was ready within 5 minutes. I hear this place is crazy busy, but I might have got lucky doing at 4 pm on a weekday because I was the only one there. I ordered the one-piece fish and chips ($15) with a manitoulin craft beer ($10), which was great! Self-serve gravy made this a 5 star for sure! Other condiments like jalapeños, onions, sauces, etc. were also self-serve in a refrigerated table. Ate outside on a picnic table over looking all the boats. Great spot!

The food is not great at all. Have tried a few different things on the menu and was not impressed, but last one was the worse! The gyro looked like plastic strips and did not taste or look like a gyro at all. If it wasn’t for the salad and fries, I would have been starving. The service was good and friendly and the restaurant has good atmosphere but was empty every time I go. Please do something to improve the quality of food! I have added another picture to let you know what a gyro should look like.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of decades and have always enjoyed the views while eating lunch. More recently the current owners have made some changes. On the positive side, they have their liquor license and provide service to those interested. Unfortunately they have also added bars along the side of the patio overlooking the water. This along with other changes that enclose the patio make it feel a bit more like looking out from a jail cell than the prior patio feel. I do hope they keep up their interest in continuous improvement but get rid of the bars along the seating area overlooking the water.

A must place to go if you are a boater or visiting and want to enjoy Penetanguishene’s harbour action. My wife and I enjoyed their foot long hot dog. The buns were bakery fresh. I had the side of Chilli and it was yummy. See picture. We sat in the inside eating area looking out over the Harbour…see window view picture. After supper we walked around the docks looking at the boats. See pictures.
