TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

UPDATE
Check your order there is no QC at the Pass. The orders are rarely correct and I frequently have had to request items that are forgotten.
Monday’s lunch rotation was this location for the office and wow what an experience!
1245 he left to pick up the order and returned about 25 mins later, not so bad for lunchtime on a Monday.
I cannot comment on the service or atmosphere as I did not visit the location. The food however was great; Cooked and seasoned perfectly and with the dill pickle slices, was a homeowner, right to our tummies.
We essentially ordered some sliders, Tenders and such, there were four of us. I even received a Reaper spice level tender by surprise, sort-of. I did state, “the hotter the better.”
Everything was awesome, there were no leftovers, except for about 80% of the Reaper spice Tender. Lawd have merceh, without dairy, I don’t think it can be done. First bite was okay, second, and third; the fight or flight kicked in and I lost, lols.
Thanks Dave’s Hot Chicken, we will be back.

Freezing cold. Very uncomfortable temperature inside. Food is flavorful, I just have to stand outside because their AC is cranked up so high. I shared my feed with employees a few times and they just say ” I know”. Hopefully the owner will read it and take into account.

This place is the best! Chicken has so much flavor and the fries are crispy. I have been here 5 times and it’s always amazing ! I don’t see what the bad reviews are honestly, just their experience I guess. But there is always a ton of orders so I understand the wait

Tried to go twice but the line moves at a snails pace. Will update the review when I can get a plate in a reasonable amount of time.
*UPDATE* quick update: ordered a #4. Chicken was room temperature like it sat for a while, ordered “Hot” spice level and had no heat to it but the flavor was there. On the other hand fries were crispy Mac and cheese fresh and creamy, Milkshakes are great going to give it a couple weeks and try again, maybe they’ll correct the chicken issue.

It was my first time trying Dave’s hot chicken. The customer service was great ! The staff was very welcoming . I wanted to add another topping to my sandwich and they got it done really quick without any hesitation . The quality of a chicken was very excellent ! It wasn’t dry and the flavor was delicious. I usually don’t eat fries, but their fries were really good. I also got the mac & cheese, and that is a must !! I will definitely be going back.!!
