This place is fun for all ages. My husband rented out the big back room for my surprise 40th bday party and I was shocked at how many people it could fit. The kids could play games and were fully entertained and the adults were, as well. Also – my friend’s car wouldn’t start and Brenden, an employee, went above and beyond to jump her car for us, and even gave us some tips in case we needed to jump a car in the future. He was kind, patient and super helpful. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond.

If you leave here bored, it’s your own fault! Pretty decent menu of healthy and comfort food. The smoked wings were crispy, smoky, and tasty. Service staff were on point. And in the winter they have ice skating!!! Smash Bro tourneys, student night with free pickleball, private parties, corn hole, large connect four, ping pong, and a walking trail.

We stopped by to check out this new establishment. It is such a gem for Columbia residents and the college students. They had ice-skating in the winter that is being transformed into something else for the summer but they have Pickleball court, large TV screens, games, food drinks. I wish I had this in my hometown. Definitely worth visiting.

Explored this place for the first time today. Played pickleball on the indoor courts. They are nice! Outdoor surface but in climate control.

Also at at the restaurant. Our group got smash burgers and the black bean burger. Both are tasty. Fries have a good seasoning.

Rounded it off with playing ping pong and shuffleboard in the game room. They have fusball and boardgames as well. All in all, a fun family experience.

I went for a Columbia College birthday party. They had Mexican food cafeteria style. Also had a separate bar. There is an ice skating rink, pickle ball, arcade, and many other family activities. Fun place for all ages.

Food took 1.5 hours to be served. Food was basically tossed at us, and then the server left, without any apology or comment. After I asked for the manager, she was also unapologetic and wasn’t particularly friendly. It was a busy Friday night, and they ended up being short staffed, which i understood, but customer service was subpar.

We had an amazing experience ice skating. Our 7yr old loved it. It was a great time for our entire family. Definitely a new tradition. The walkers are a nice touch for young kids or if you’re not familiar with skating.

Concept is cool. Facility is modern and appealing. Food was below average on taste, temp and quality. Took over an hour to get our food.

Update: had food here for the first time. The nachos, fried pickles and chicken tenders were all meh.

(This review is based primarily on the new ice skating rink.)
This is a great amenity for Columbia and Boone County, and I’m excited to see how this property continues to develop. We came on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30, when the temperature was around 52F. The ice was pretty wet, which is normal for such a warm day, but something worth knowing if you’re not an experienced skater. Lots of people were pretty wet from their falls. This shouldn’t be a problem on a more typical winter day. Otherwise the ice surface was pretty decent, as good as I could have expected for a seasonal ice rink! We arrived to no line at the skate shack, but by the time we were finished, around 2:30 when the session ended, there was a line of maybe 15-20 people for the skate rental. A waiver is required (normal), and the cost of admission + skate rental is about $16/adult (not sure if there is a discounted price for children). That price probably makes this inaccessible for many in the community, but I assume it’s pretty expensive to operate an ice rink, so this isn’t a complaint. However, I found the rental skates to be pretty uncomfortable. They have a plastic outer shell that bit into my lower leg. I was able to loosen the straps some which helped, but I hope that they can invest in some better skates (and maybe add hockey skates?) if the first couple seasons go well. The big screen is a unique ice rink feature, and I bet this place will be packed during the next Chiefs game. There is also a stage that could accommodate a band, which would be really fun as well! One last small issue is the the skate shack itself is really small. It has benches for maybe 6-8 people to put on skates, but really no system for stashing your shoes beyond just sticking them under the bench. And then there’s probably only room for 4 people to stand in line inside. On a cold, busy day, it might be pretty chilly to stand and wait! Overall though, I’m excited to have a seasonal ice rink in town and am hopeful improvements will be made as it is supported by the community!
I was also pleasantly surprised to find the game room stocked with a nice selection of board games (including Catan, Ticket to Ride, Azul, Candy Land, etc.), and two ping pong and foosball tables. You could really have a fun afternoon with the whole family, with each person having something to do. We played Azul after skating, and enjoyed the Skillet Brownie, which was nice and came with a scoop of ice cream. We’ll definitely have to come back to try the food and drinks another time.
