I was immediately greeted when walking through the door, and served by a polite young woman with curly hair and glasses. She carried simple conversation while tending to all my sandwich needs. The food seemed a little bit old, and the store doesn’t carry any sodas or chips that the other stores have. You could hear the owner and another one his employees arguing in the back. Great service, wouldn’t come back again.

The food is fresh and good, but The employees are super slow. I went in there to get 2 foot long and waited 30 minutes. They need to have more employees in there. There was only one person working, which I do feel bad. But for them to take almost 20 minutes per customer is outrageous.

I originally loved coming here there was a lady who treated me well. I get out of work at 8:15 and am usually served with out an issue. April 18 and the 19 I have come here twice at :8:38 and 8:40 to be told they were closed when they close at 10. Said they are out of bread. Which is a lie because all I wanted was a flat bread. I’m very disappointed in this store two nights in a row this has happened.

Best Subway in the area thanks to the staff. I go to get dinner and they great me quickly and make amazing sandwiches just as you want them. I’ve walked out of 2 other subways recently due to being completely ignored or them not honoring coupons and being out of stock of many ingredients. This one is the best!!

The beauty about this particular Subway is it’s proximity to the University of New Haven. You can always pop in for quick bite or take-out, and you’ll be on your way in no time.

My husband visited the Orange Ave subway West Haven bu UNH and ot was awful he ordered Tuna melt and a drink first of all they had genetic cups and you can only choose from two drink flavors the others did not work the sandwich was put in brown pepper bag and to top it off the Sandwich was dry and Awful

Tuna was great but my goodness the bread was super hard and overcooked!! I had to tear off the entire top layer of my bread and each end to be able to eat it and no it was not toasted. It was supposed to be fresh. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be back.

Subway is always a good option for food.
One star is due to an elderly woman who works there. I had a gift card and apparently I am supposed to tell the cashier beforehand that I have a giftcard. I didn’t know that and she criticized me for not knowing as if I was a child. I can take on criticism but I’m the customer, I shouldn’t be treated this way.
