They’ve got all kinds of options for your burger here and they’re all pretty good but you won’t go wrong even if you just get the most basic one. The atmosphere is casual and lively but clean and nice. You could be a teenage high school student, or a CEO and feel right at home at the tables here either way.
There’s a bar with all kinds of craft brews on tap, too. Would be a nice low-key spot to catch a taste with a few friends in the evening or get wasted at lunchtime watching your team lose the game.
All in all, this is a burger joint with great burgers and if that isn’t what’s beautiful about America I don’t know what is.
Just noticed that some of my pictures were from the monthly special menu, so they don’t always exist (the salmon burger and the tiramisu cake).
We shared Korean chicken wings and blue cheese topped burger, ordered medium rare. Korean chicken wings were done very nicely, falling off the bone juicy and tender, but it was overly seasoned with soy sauce. I was expecting a little bit of a kick with gochujang or gochu powder, but didn’t taste any of that. They were just salty. I would’ve preferred wings without the sauce.
My husband ordered the waygu burger, medium rare, topped with blue cheese, bacon, and fried onions. First of all, the burger was done medium, the fried onions did not add texture, the bacon was hard, which I know was par-cooked, but also been sitting around on the counter for a while. The burger was too salty. If I was preparing the burger, I would have used less salt knowing that both the blue cheese and the bacon would add salt to the dish. It was not a bad burger, but for $22, we expected better.
The fries were fast-food quality.
My favorite thing on the menu was the hazy IPA from Half Moon Bay brewery
We were glad to have gone and checked it out, but I don’t think we’ll be going back.
