We had a club with fries and dunks then cheeseburgers and drinks plus purple shakes. Love that they bring you the extra shake. That’s a nice touch. Do wish they would wipe the milkshake glasses bc purple shakes got all over us and the table.

Food was better than expected. Great location. Kids really loved it. Neat coloring sheets they enjoyed that.

Fun place! Great for families. First time here. Kids loved it. Have adult beverages as well. So there is something for everyone. Plenty menu options. Fun purple shakes. Our server was excellent!!! Food came out quickly and everything was right. Had a margarita which was pretty good!! The food was plentiful and tasty. Good prices. I would definitely come back. My kids are fans of this place.

My Mom and I went to Purple Cow on October 6, 2025, at 5:00 pm to catch an early dinner. The restaurant was dead (hardly any customers), minus one other table seated. We were seated in a booth near the bar.

We were greeted and drinks were brought to us by the gentleman who is pictured. We asked for a few minutes to look at the menu. After about 5 minutes, the gentleman asked another server to take our order as he was busy making milkshakes. We placed our order and waited. Up to this point, there were no issues.

Complaint #1: The food arrived, and we were both disappointed. We ordered the same item – which was the Steak House Mushroom & Swiss Burger, with fries. The burger was dry, and grey (when cut into). It appears that they use frozen burger patties. The burgers had ZERO seasoning on them and tasted bland. The fries were fine. NOT WORTH THE $14.99 THEY ARE ASKING!!!

Complaint #2: While eating, the manager (Hispanic lady with a green shirt with “MANAGER” written in cursive) told our server and another server to clean the glass since they were slow. Our server proceeds to spray glass cleaner and start wiping the glass 12 inches from my face as I am eating. There was ZERO considerations given to the customer experience what-so-ever considering that we were there to enjoy a meal and the ambience of the restaurant and not to be starred at as the server was wiping the glass next to us. (SEE PICTURE #2 for how close the glass was to our table).

Complaint #3: If you’ll notice, I circled the steam rising from the bar sink. It is because the server pictured (PICTURE #1) uses the steam from the sink to hydrate his face while standing there. How do I know? The server who he initially sent to take our order mentioned to him that he “left the hot water running in the sink”, in which he loudly chuckled and stated, “I do that to hydrate my face”. So, a restaurant has to pay for staff, licensing, food costs, utilities (INCLUDING HOT WATER), in some cases franchise fees, etc. If I were the owner, I’d be .38 special HOT that my HOT WATER was being wasted for the selfishness of a servers’ hydration needs. Not only is this a bad look for the restaurant, but it calls into question the high prices that are passed along to the consumer. Why are we paying for his hydration needs?

Complaint #4: With only us and one other table with customers, why did the ladies room (3 stalls) have no toilet paper in any of them? My Mother mentioned this to a staff member, and she was thanked for bringing this to their attention. Glass cleaning inches away from a customers’ face while eating takes priority over toilet paper in the restrooms.

OVERALL: Meh. This isn’t the Purple Cow experience that I remember growing up. This felt like a (franchised) attempt at duplicating what once was. The ambiance of the restaurant is awesome, less the oldies music that appeals to no one other than the old people who eat there. The employees seemed to all be disjointed — in their phones and their own little worlds, lacking awareness toward the customer or the mission of the restaurant. Though none of the mentioned complaints are TOTAL DEALBREAKERS, I’ll spend my money elsewhere for a chance at a better experience.

The same best food and service as the Little Rock diner. Only opened a week ago and even though they were just training, service was great and everyone was super friendly. I had a strawberry milkshake, onion rings, fruit cup and the Santa Fe Chicken salad. Everything made to order and fruit was cut fresh. Yarnell’s is their ice cream brand. All fantastically delicious. I hope they do great and are around for a long time.

My first visit today i had one of the steakknife burgers i think it was called, hubby had a selection including fries, chilli, a salad with strawberries, sadly he was too busy dealing with calls from work to enjoy his meal so we took his salad home and shared it later that evening, definitely going back for one of those it was amazing. Loved the dressing that went with it, a little sweet for my tastes but delicious anyway. My burger was well cooked and our server was a delight.

My husband and I dined at the Purple Cow location in Benton on November 22, 2025, and we were greeted by a young man named Kadin, who provided excellent service. We enjoyed our meal and Kadin’s service. Throughout the meal, he made sure we were having a good time. We were very impressed with Kadin because he was personable. One of the questions Kadin asked me was about my opinion on the strawberry salad that I ordered, which was fresh and included strawberries and blueberries. The dressing was incredible—a balsamic caramel sauce. My husband and I were really impressed with his work ethic and asked about it. Kadin shared that his great-grandfather had given him valuable words of wisdom about the importance of being personable.

Waitress was attentive. Kids loved their purple milkshakes. husband and i enjoyed our burgers and fries. homemade chips and fried pickle spears were great. one kid got the chicken tender basket and she enjoyed it. the other one got the “steak” with herbed butter. its basically an unbreaded hamburger steak. he didnt care for the herbed butter but enjoyed the rest, including his large side salad.

A beautifully designed place. We went during lunchtime and it was very busy, which is a good thing. The service was spectacular, and the food was beyond words. We were so full we’ll have to make another visit to try the desserts. My only criticism is the food waste on the floor and the lack of cleaning under the tables, which is something they need to improve. Aside from this inconvenience, it’s a very cozy place, and I recommend the terrace for large groups.

First time customers!! Horrible experience! First my club sandwich had to be remade! Second we ordered chili cheese fries but got no silverware to eat with and was told that there was none clean. When we finally got some our food was cold. Our server then took our ticket away to find a manager to talk to us and was literally 30 minutes before she could find her! She said she looked everywhere and didn’t know where she was! And asked us if we could wait a little while longer! Again we waited another 20 minutrs! Overall it was a disaster!
