Decided to go here for lunch (3 adults) with my baby. Plenty of seating, very quiet, calm environment. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowing us to adjust for spicy levels. We got the seafood pancake, the tofu to do with seafood, and the braised, short rib, plenty for three adults with leftovers!

We got the barley tea brought to us immediately upon sitting, delicious! The food came out fairly quickly, very hot and overall one of the best Korean meals we’ve had here!

Special shout out must be made as one of the servers offered to push our baby around in her stroller while we ate. This was very sweet, and we could hear our baby giggling the entire time. This was a very pleasant surprise and the first time we’ve experienced something like this in Portland. It was nice to enjoy our meal while it was hot and feel like it was not an inconvenience to anyone around us to have our baby.

Overall pricing was very fair for the food quality, taste, quantity, and service! We will definitely come back!

Minor inconvenience of fruit flies around us, but no big deal

So glad I went here! It’s definitely more upscale Korean cuisine, but it’s delicious. To me it wasn’t very expensive, about $50 for lunch with my friend.

My friend and I got the soft tofu stew and the beef soup. Both were so flavorful and the broth was super clean. The lotus crisps were SO good.

Loved the complimentary hot tea and the banchan was excellent.

We ordered four dishes, and each one tasted great. But what impressed me the most was how friendly the server was. My toddler needed a straw cup to drink water, and instead of just giving us a straw, the server made a temporary cup using a bowl with a lid so the water wouldn’t spill. I was amazed by such thoughtfulness!

This is definitely a place I’ll visit again, and next time I’d like to try some other dishes.

I reserved via Google assistant without issues. Came on a Friday evening and they weren’t too busy. We ordered the seafood scallion pancake, fried mandu and the prime rib ssam set. This was for 3 of us and I felt like it was plenty of food. The server tried to talk us into ordering one more and we’re glad we didn’t. We ended up taking most of pancake home. No complaints on the taste or texture of any of the dishes. It is pricey, though!

We gave this place three stars overall. Honestly, the experience was pretty underwhelming. When we walked in, there was a heavy smell, which my girlfriend didn’t really like. The interior was decent and the bathrooms were clean, so that’s a plus.

We tried the spicy octopus and short ribs. The octopus was pretty plain and honestly a bit below average, while the short ribs were decent but a tad salty. What really saved the night were the servers—they were super nice and attentive, even noticing when I finished a side dish and bringing a new one without me asking.

In the end, we’re not planning on returning, but those lovely servers bumped our rating up to three stars. Otherwise, it might have been lower.

We tried this place for lunch recently, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful, the pre-lunch pickled snack snacks were amazing as well We both had the bibimbop and it’s the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely come back regularly.

A bit spendy, but worth it, I think, for good quality food and a nice date.

Delicious dinner!
The beef tartare was incredibly refreshing with its cool sesame dressing, and the spicy braised beef clay pot was absolutely scrumptious. (The photo shows only what was left!)

A spot you should definitely add to your list—highly recommend!.

New and spacious Korean restaurant with a clean and modern vibe. The assorted pancakes was a feast for the eyes, a nice variety of meats and veggies cooked in a soft, egg batter. The grilled meats were supposed to come with 5 different greens, yet our vegetable bouquet only had red and green leaf lettuces with a few sticks of carrots. The seafood pancake was thick, almost rivaling the thickness of a pizza. Our server was great, probably the only Korean restaurant I’ve been to where we were asked if we’d like a refill on the banchans. Overall decent meal.

We recently dined at Hansik, a fantastic Korean restaurant, and had an amazing experience.
The food was absolutely delicious and perfect for hanging out with friends and family due to its generous portions. Although the prices are on the expensive side, the quantity and quality make it worth it.
We ordered seafood pancakes, spicy squid, and spicy beef stew. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared.
The side dishes were numerous and equally delicious. Overall, I would give Hansik a 9 out of 10 and will definitely be going back again.

We found the restaurant at their soft opening. The food was fantastic and blown away by the bouquets of a variety of green leaves. It was so appetizing, and I was impressed and ready to review them right away. However, after a month, it is so crowded now, and the quality of green mix and side dishes have been reduced. It’s still a good place for dining, and I hope the restaurant will remain successful and not cut any corner.
