Ate here today, after looking at this place for weeks, and I feel genuinely stupid for not getting around to this location sooner. I had the chicken wrap with fries, a baklava, and a soda- Everything was fresh. I saw them preparing fresh fries for their orders, shaving lamb for online orders, and actively cleaning.
The staff were beyond friendly, and theres a light of passion behind their eyes. I cannot commend how friendly and trustworthy the staff were- They had my enjoyment at their primary interest. When I had questions about ingredients or the care of their food, they answered transparently.
It helps to note that, visually, this is the cleanest venue in the Altamonte Malls food court. Lights were bright, sign and lettering were clear of any filth, it looked pristine.
The food was WONDERFUL. Juicy, fresh, everything I’ve praised and said before carry over wonderfully into this aspect, too. The weakest part was the baklava, but even then, it’s baklava. It was delicious regardless.
I heavily recommend anyone passing through Altamonte, or visiting the mall, to PLEASE give Baba’s Halal a visit.

Great Mediterranean food place! I really loved the baba salad — super fresh and flavorful. The gyro wrap with BBQ was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the honey BBQ wings were amazing, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely a spot I would recommend and come back to.

Fries, same thing. Service was with a smile even though they were closing on a Sunday, they were happy to serve me.
Really really good halal, super impressed. Will definitely order some, and take it home next time I’m in the mall.

Baba’s Halal is a solid go-to. Juicy, well-seasoned chicken, perfectly cooked fries, and sauces that actually deliver—savory, creamy, and just the right kick. Simple menu, big flavor, and very satisfying overall. Definitely worth a stop when you’re at the mall.

I was so happy to discover this new location! Baba’s Halal never disappoints. I got the chicken platter and added feta cheese and fries for the perfect combination! The portions are always great, the food is fresh, and the cleanliness and customer service are top notch! Always friendly and super quick service. I highly recommend! As someone who lived in NYC for a decade, I consider myself a Halal Chicken & Rice connoisseur.
I was really excited when I first tried Baba’s, and let me say, they did not disappoint. Now every time I come to Altamonte Mall, I stop by this place.
The meat is moist and rice is fluffy. Both were well seasoned. The salad was fresh and crisp.
The staff is kind and happy to serve you. I’ve been three times in the last month, and now crave this place. Definitely stop by for a great inexpensive meal.

The first thing I noticed when looking for a place to get food from at the food court is how clean a place is and Baba’s Halal was very clean. The young lady taking our order was wonderful and helpful answering our questions about the menu. She was very nice and friendly. The chicken gyro was delicious and came with crispy fries which I loved. My friend got a traditional gyro and added a large piece of baklava which looked amazing! He was also very happy with his meal. I highly recommend Baba’s Halal if you’re in the Altamonte Springs Mall. You will not be disappointed.

Located all the way in the back to the right of the food court, is babas halal grill. The food was excellent and so was the service. As a first time customer, I did not expect this place to exceed my expectations. The chicken and lamb platters are very tasty. Everything was perfectly seasoned. They give a lot of food in the platters for the price. I could eat this every single day. Definitely recommend coming here if you are starving from your shopping trip!
