This was my first time there. I had oxtails w/ rice,beans and cabbage and a side of plantains. The food was so GOOD that I am making this my new spot for Jamaican from now on.
They said they are turning it into a sports bar but will still serve the Jamaican menu..Yay!

Stop in for the first time tonight to grab a carryout and meet who i think was one of the owners and had a very pleasant conversation out our adult children. Restaurant felt warm and the smell was as if I was in Jamaica on vacation. When I got home, the food was still warm and the flavor was on point. The portions were nice size and I will definitely be coming back to visit whenever in the Richmond area. If you haven’t had them, give them a try.

Lemme tell you…this place is the Capital of Burgers!!! I ran around for about 3 years looking for a good burger, passed this place several times judging it from the outside and not mention when you go in it’s not the best looking place but if you can get past all of that to get to the prize of a BOMB tasting burger you will not regret it! Now I placed my order over the phone, gave them time and went to pick it up…but when I got there it wasn’t ready & the reason was….(drumroll please) he had to clean the grill!!!! Yes clean the grill… that was music to my ears so it was definitely worth the wait. Forgot Burger Bach and Carytown Burgers & I say that with love….but this Bottom Burger is where you need to get your burger!!!! Portion size is like that too!!! Money well spent!

I was looking for a tasty burger in Richmond, and I came in this restaurant and asked for a Breakfast Burger. That thing was AMAZING! Not only did it taste good, but it was a big burger! You definitely get what you pay for. Their tater tots are insanely delicious. Crispy and seasoned very well. They also make some good dipping sauces to go with it. I spoke with the chef, and he’s a very nice and friendly guy. My server was also very friendly and provided excellent service. Next time I take my family out to eat, we’re stopping at Bottom Burger on E. Main Street!

Food was great! We unfortunately were the only ones in there for lunch. We saw a couple of people poke their heads in the door and walked out. The fries were awesome. Lightly seasoned with old bay! One of our guys had the chicken and waffles and quickly devoured it. I had one that had pulled pork and the burger was excellent. The only issue I noticed was the decor was a little dingy and there were missing light fixtures in the ceiling so it made it look really rundown. They need to update their website to reflect the new items on their menu.
