This place is making smash burgers the way they are supposed to be made. Thin patty that has been mashed on the grill creating a lacy and crispy irregular perimeter. A distinct taste of mustard as if the patty is pressed and fried on a small amount of it creating a savory flavor. Simple toppings on a bun that doesn’t threaten to steal the show. Crispy high quality bacon that is delicate enough to not disrupt each bite by sliding around or being tough. Overall this is a very faithful to tradition smash burger and that is exactly what I like about it. My fries were crispy and fresh and it is clear that the oil is clean and fresh. Now I’m just splitting hairs here but I do have two minor criticisms. I bought the double and the bacon and cheese was placed between the two patties Somewhat masking the crispy nature of the bacon. I would have rather had the bacon on top, next to the bun. I also think the patties could be a half ounce or so heavier. I know they have to be thin to achieve all the desirable qualities of the smash, but just a touch bigger would have made my sandwich as filling as a double should be. Or if the singles were a bit cheaper I would just get two singles which is often the best way to go with these types of burgers. Overall I highly recommend Smash-Squatch for an authentic take on this iconic style of hamburger sandwich.

A perfect Smash Burger. It’s basic, but in the best way!! Smashed patties, cheese, lettuce, and sauce. The sauce is very mustard forward, which is what you want with a smash burger. The meat was well seasoned. I also added bacon to mine. Definitely get the fry sauce to dip your fries. It’s amazing.

The food and service were wonderful! Jake made my burger to order without a bun. He chopped up the burger and served it on a bed of lettuce with a yummy sauce. You can get a burger and fries for a good price. Thanks for a wonderful meal Jake!

Food was great but the price is kind high for what you get. The burger is super basic for 9.95 then 1.95 to add bacon. There are no onions or tomatoes. The lettuse is the cheep shredded lettuce. Nothing to get to excited about. One the bright side the staff was nice and friendly.

Nice random burger cart. The guy taking orders seemed helpful. I liked the simple menu. There’s no place to wait for orders so people were standing around in the rain. The fries were luke warm which was kind of disappointing but the burger was delicious. It was a little more than $8 after tax for a single patty. The jalapenos were a good addition.

A must check-out when you’re in White Salmon! Fast and friendly service and you can wait in your car with your buzzer if it’s nippy out. You can also order ahead which I appreciate on my lunch break. Yummy smash burger at a great price point.
